El amor compartido, tender la mano
Hola amigos de esta querida comunidad @Holos-lotus
@charjaim nos invita a juntos enfrentar la adversidad, ella tiende un puente de solidaridad hasta la amiga @santamorillo quien enfrenta los desastres de las crecidas del río Apure, allá en la querida Venezuela.

Y los desvelos de @santamorillo hoy toman su corazón y su bienestar y representa a millones de personas que sufren los desastres naturales, así sufrimos en Cuba constantemente, por ser una isla expuesta constantemente a los ciclones.
Uno de los últimos sinsabores que nos llevó a unirnos como hermanos sucedió en la parte más oriental de Cuba, Guantánamo y hasta allá llegó la ayuda solidaria de todo un pueblo. Y no solo la ayuda material que tan necesaria es en estos casos sino la mano que sobre el hombro les hizo saber que allí estaban los amigos para ayudar a recuperar parte de lo pérdido.
Un desastre natural es como un golpe brutal e inesperado para la tierra. De un momento a otro, el paisaje que conocíamos se transforma en un escenario de caos.
Los huracanes, con su furia de viento y agua, no solo arrancan techos, sino que derriban árboles centenarios, destruyen arrecifes y alteran para siempre la línea de la costa, los viales y arrastran los bienes de los hermanos, así como ha dañado la estabilidad de @santamorillo.
Las inundaciones arrastran toneladas de lodo que asfixian la vida bajo el agua y envenenan los ríos con desechos tóxicos que consumen el hogar de incontables seres humanos y animales y dejan un suelo estéril y vulnerable.
Nada de eso se recupera sino con la voluntad gubernamental, espero que Venezuela se ocupe de sus hijos. Como hicimos con los hermanos de Guantánamo, a quienes hicimos llegar donaciones, compartiendo lo poco que tenemos; hoy comparto con @santamorillo las recompensas de este post y me sumo en oración por su bienestar.
El daño a la tierra es una cadena de consecuencias. Un bosque arrasado ya no puede sostener a las aves que anidaban allí, ni a los insectos que polinizaban las flores. Un río contaminado significa la muerte de los peces y la escasez para las comunidades que dependen de él. El ecosistema, esa red perfecta de conexiones, se rompe en eslabones.
La naturaleza tiene una capacidad asombrosa para regenerarse, para cubrir sus cicatrices con nuevo verde, pero la recuperación es lenta y frágil y quienes están en problemas necesitan nuestro apoyo.
Nos queda la lección de recordar que somos parte de ese tejido y que su dolor, al final, también es el nuestro. Invito a otros amigos a sumarse a esta cadena de amor que ha lanzado @charjaim y de la cual supe por @emiliorios.

Shared love, reaching out a hand

@charjaim invites us to face adversity together. She extends a bridge of solidarity to our friend @santamorillo, who is facing the disasters caused by the flooding of the Apure River, over in beloved Venezuela.

And the worries of @santamorillo today touch our hearts and concern for her well-being; she represents millions of people who suffer from natural disasters. We in Cuba suffer constantly from this as well, being an island constantly exposed to cyclones.
One of the latest hardships that led us to unite as brothers happened in the easternmost part of Cuba, Guantánamo, and the solidarity aid of an entire people reached all the way there. And not only the material aid, which is so necessary in these cases, but also the hand on the shoulder that let them know their friends were there to help them recover part of what was lost.
A natural disaster is like a brutal and unexpected blow to the land. In an instant, the landscape we knew is transformed into a scene of chaos.
Hurricanes, with their fury of wind and water, not only tear off roofs but also uproot centuries-old trees, destroy reefs, and forever alter the coastline and roads, sweeping away the belongings of our brothers and sisters, just as it has damaged @santamorillo's stability.
Floods drag tons of mud that suffocate life underwater and poison rivers with toxic waste, consuming the homes of countless humans and animals, and leaving the soil sterile and vulnerable.
None of that can be recovered without governmental will; I hope Venezuela takes care of its children. As we did with the brothers and sisters in Guantánamo, to whom we sent donations, sharing the little we have; today I share with @santamorillo the rewards from this post and join in prayer for her well-being.
The damage to the land is a chain of consequences. A razed forest can no longer support the birds that nested there, nor the insects that pollinated the flowers. A contaminated river means the death of fish and scarcity for the communities that depend on it. The ecosystem, that perfect network of connections, breaks at its links.
Nature has an amazing capacity to regenerate itself, to cover its scars with new green, but the recovery is slow and fragile, and those in trouble need our support.
We are left with the lesson of remembering that we are part of that fabric and that its pain, in the end, is also ours. I invite other friends to join this chain of love launched by @charjaim and which I learned about through @emiliorios.
