Un saludo para los amigos de @Celfmagazine. Desde esta querida comunidad hago mi Pincelada XIII, sobre temas artísticos. Fue una idea de @cumanauta para darme riendas sueltas a mi oficio de Crítica de Arte.
Pues les cuento que ayer salí a la calle y, a diferencia de otras veces en que el panorama me parece gris, esta vez me fue agradable por los amigos que vi y los lugares donde estuve. Fue breve; a las tres horas estaba de regreso en mi espacio favorito, que es mi hogar.
Si algo me agrada de mi pequeña ciudad son los espacios dedicados al arte, y aunque el talento artístico y las manifestaciones necesitan más promoción, sí podemos ver a nuestro paso las galerías abiertas, los poetas y repentistas en una calle, la librería con excelentes ejemplares, o un guitarrista concertista en alguna peña donde comparten poesía y música.
Quizás han podido verlo desde los blogs de @elviguitarra, @yuslenismolina, @yelainemh, @abelarte o algún otro hiver de mi ciudad.
Pasaba por la Casa Iberoamericana de la Décima y me llamó la atención el estilo de Liusan Cabrera Almaguer, a quien había visto meses antes en una exposición personal en la Galería Uneac.
La obra del pintor Liusan Cabrera representa una exploración fascinante dentro de la pintura cinética, donde el movimiento no es físico, sino una ilusión óptica meticulosamente construida.
A través de un lenguaje geométrico riguroso, Cabrera emplea formas modulares, patrones repetitivos y una paleta de colores vibrantes que interactúan para generar ritmos visuales dinámicos. Sus composiciones vibran y pulsan ante la mirada del espectador, desafiando la percepción y demostrando que el lienzo es un campo de energía latente.
Esta propuesta sobre la vibración cromática y la tensión espacial trasciende lo puramente visual, invitando a una reflexión profunda sobre los fundamentos de la realidad, la relatividad del movimiento y la naturaleza subjetiva de nuestra experiencia sensorial. Su trabajo es un diálogo entre el orden matemático y el fenómeno efímero de la luz, heredero de la mejor tradición del arte óptico y cinético.
Si se habla de perseverancia y oficio, ahí está Liusan para dar su rostro. Cuando todos creían que le sería difícil convencer a un jurado que lo creyó demasiado diverso (paisajista, figurativo, abstracto, puntillista), pues logró su objetivo: la membresía de la Unión de Escritores y Artistas de Cuba, Uneac. Liusan no tiene que demostrar que es artista, porque lo es.
Quizás no importa a muchos una creación ajena a las instituciones y organizaciones, pero para Liusan se convirtió en un punto de referencia. La Casa... le ofrece una museografía sencilla, pero es un espacio tan acogedor y cargado de poesía que el arte se convierte en otro morador.
Han transitado más de veinte años de creación desde que Liusan se graduó en la Escuela Profesional de Arte de Las Tunas, elucubrando la idea que más le place y plantando la sonrisa a las dagas.
A mí se me antoja que en Códigos significantes, el nombre de la exposición, cada obra avanza hacia un universo estructurado, un tanto metafísico. Y no voy a darle una lectura a lo que Liusan pretendió decir con organicidad geométrica porque solo él sabe que, más que discurso, su pincel quiso ubicar el universo en un encuadre.

Art as Coexistence
A greeting to the friends of @Celfmagazine. From this beloved community, I make my Brushstroke XIII, about artistic themes. It was an idea from @cumanauta to give me free rein in my trade as an Art Critic.
Well, I'll tell you that yesterday I went out into the street and, unlike other times when the panorama seems grey to me, this time it was pleasant because of the friends I saw and the places I visited. It was brief; within three hours I was back in my favorite space, which is my home.
If there's anything I like about my small city, it's the spaces dedicated to art, and although the artistic talent and manifestations need more promotion, we can indeed see along our way the open galleries, the poets and improvising poets on a street, the bookstore with excellent copies, or a concert guitarist in some peña where they share poetry and music.
Perhaps you have been able to see it from the blogs of @elviguitarra, @yuslenismolina, @yelainemh, @abelarte or some other hiver from my city.
I was passing by the Casa Iberoamericana de la Décima and the style of Liusan Cabrera Almaguer caught my attention, whom I had seen months before in a personal exhibition at the Uneac Gallery.
The work of the painter Liusan Cabrera represents a fascinating exploration within kinetic painting, where the movement is not physical, but a meticulously constructed optical illusion.
Through a rigorous geometric language, Cabrera employs modular forms, repetitive patterns, and a vibrant color palette that interact to generate dynamic visual rhythms. His compositions vibrate and pulsate before the viewer's gaze, challenging perception and demonstrating that the canvas is a field of latent energy.
This proposal about chromatic vibration and spatial tension transcends the purely visual, inviting a profound reflection on the foundations of reality, the relativity of movement, and the subjective nature of our sensory experience. His work is a dialogue between mathematical order and the ephemeral phenomenon of light, heir to the best tradition of optical and kinetic art.
If one speaks of perseverance and craft, Liusan is there to show his face. When everyone believed it would be difficult for him to convince a jury that found him too diverse (landscapist, figurative, abstract, pointillist), well, he achieved his goal: membership in the Unión de Escritores y Artistas de Cuba, Uneac. Liusan doesn't have to prove he is an artist, because he is.
Perhaps a creation detached from institutions and organizations doesn't matter to many, but for Liusan it became a point of reference. The House... offers him simple museography, but it is a space so cozy and charged with poetry that art becomes another dweller.
More than twenty years of creation have passed since Liusan graduated from the Escuela Profesional de Arte de Las Tunas, concocting the idea that most pleases him and planting the smile against the dagas.
It seems to me that in Significant Codes, the name of the exhibition, each work advances towards a structured, somewhat metaphysical universe. And I am not going to give an interpretation of what Liusan intended to say with geometric organicity because only he knows that, more than discourse, his brush wanted to place the universe within a frame.
