Hola amigos de #Greenzone, es como si esta comunidad me hubiese hechizado, siempre deseo volver.
En esta Pincelada V les hablaré del poder artístico del dibujo, y si bien no podré ponerles todos los ejemplos deseados por no poder usar imágenes no autorizadas, si quiero despertar interés por esta técnica a través de dos artistas cubanos revonocidos que represento: el fotógrafo Adonis Acosta Cabrera y el Dibujante y Comediante, Ramón Carrillo Gómez.
Esta obra que está detrás de mi es una pintura al oleo, su autor me la obsequió en el 2010 y quiero tomarla como ejemplo de excelente dibujo como preámbulo de la pintura. Así el dibujo es la vía de materializar la idea que ronda en la cabeza de un artista para luego trabajarla.

Pero el dibujo ha ido tomando su propio lenguaje, el poder expresivo de su trazo, y cuando vemos fogografias minimalistas como estas de Adonis Acosta, nos damos cuenta que las lecturas se han apropiado de los códigos semióticos del dibujo.

El poder del dibujo reside en su simplicidad aparente y su profundidad. No es solo la habilidad de trazar líneas sobre una superficie; es el acto de dar forma tangible a lo intangible, de materializar un pensamiento, una emoción o una idea en un lenguaje universal que trasciende las barreras del idioma.
Cuando vi los dibujos de Leonardo Da Vinci en una vitrina en El Louvre, entendí que un simple trazo puede ser el contenedor de una revolución, la semilla de un sentimiento o el plano de un mundo por construir porque en términos de inventiva, Da Vinci lo dibujó todo. Él lo hacia como un medio de estudio de la anatomía humana o animal, las partes de un aparato.
Otros artistas como el pintor y escultor Roberto Fabelo han reivindicado el dibujo desde su sobriedad. Así es la obra de Ramón Carrillo, un mundo expresivo en pocas lineas.

En su esencia, el dibujo es el primer grito de una idea y el fin. Es el territorio donde lo posible se explora sin restricciones, con la libertad que da un lápiz y un papel en blanco. El dibujo no es exigente con el material sino con la destreza del artista.
Es el medio más democrático del arte es el dibujo, no requiere de grandes estudios o herramientas costosas, solo de la voluntad de quien se atreve a dejar una marca.
Hace más de 35 años vi una exposición de Wilfredo Lam en la Biblioteca Nacional José Martí, confieso que la obra de Lam por ser parte del cubismo de la época no me fascinaba, pero allí frente a los inmensos dibujos en papel craf, quedé enamorada del poder expresivo de esta técnica.
El dibujo puede capturar la fragilidad de una mirada, los signos reconocidos para llegar con efectividad a la conciencia del espectador porque es una técnica autónoma. Capta la tensión de un cuerpo o la nostalgia de un lugar con una intensidad que a veces supera a la fotografía, porque no muestra solo lo que está allí, sino lo que el artista siente que está allí.
El dibujo como expresión es, en definitiva, un acto de valor y fe porque no atrapa mediante el color sino con el discurso. Admiro a los artistas que tienen el coraje para enfrentar el vacío de la página en blanco y fe en que una serie de marcas abstractas pueden comunicar algo profundo a otro ser humano.
El dibujo actúa como un hechizo lento, una magia visual que tiene el poder de conmovernos, inspirarnos y, en última instancia, recordarnos nuestra propia capacidad para crear y darle nuevo significado al mundo que nos rodea mediante pocas líneas.

The expressive power of drawing
Hello friends of #Greenzone, it's as if this community has bewitched me, I always want to return.
In this Brushstroke V I will talk to you about the artistic power of drawing, and although I won't be able to show you all the desired examples because I cannot use unauthorized images, I do want to spark interest in this technique through two renowned Cuban artists I represent: the photographer Adonis Acosta Cabrera and the Draftsman and Comedian, Ramón Carrillo Gómez.
This work behind me is an oil painting, its author gifted it to me in 2010 and I want to use it as an example of excellent drawing as a preamble to painting. Thus, drawing is the way to materialize the idea that lingers in an artist's head to later work on it.

But drawing has been developing its own language, the expressive power of its stroke, and when we see minimalistic photographs like these by Adonis Acosta, we realize that readings have appropriated the semiotic codes of drawing.

The power of drawing lies in its apparent simplicity and its depth. It is not just the ability to trace lines on a surface; it is the act of giving tangible shape to the intangible, of materializing a thought, an emotion, or an idea into a universal language that transcends the barriers of language.
When I saw Leonardo Da Vinci's drawings in a display case at The Louvre, I understood that a simple stroke can be the container of a revolution, the seed of a feeling, or the blueprint of a world yet to be built because in terms of inventiveness, Da Vinci drew everything. He did it as a means of studying human or animal anatomy, the parts of a machine.
Other artists like the painter and sculptor Roberto Fabelo have reclaimed drawing from its sobriety. Such is the work of Ramón Carrillo, an expressive world in few lines.

In its essence, drawing is the first cry of an idea and the end. It is the territory where the possible is explored without restrictions, with the freedom given by a pencil and a blank paper. Drawing is not demanding with the material but with the artist's skill.
It is the most democratic medium of art is drawing, it does not require great studies or expensive tools, only the will of those who dare to leave a mark.
Over 35 years ago I saw an exhibition by Wilfredo Lam at the José Martí National Library, I confess that Lam's work, being part of the cubism of the time, did not fascinate me, but there, in front of the immense drawings on craft paper, I fell in love with the expressive power of this technique.
Drawing can capture the fragility of a gaze, the recognized signs to effectively reach the viewer's consciousness because it is an autonomous technique. It captures the tension of a body or the nostalgia of a place with an intensity that sometimes surpasses photography, because it shows not only what is there, but what the artist feels is there.
Drawing as expression is, ultimately, an act of courage and faith because it captures not through color but with discourse. I admire artists who have the courage to face the void of the blank page and faith that a series of abstract marks can communicate something profound to another human being.
Drawing acts as a slow spell, a visual magic that has the power to move us, inspire us, and ultimately remind us of our own capacity to create and give new meaning to the world around us through few lines.
