It looks it is time to start mowing the lawn. I bought a corded electric mower a decade ago. Unlike traditional gas powered mowers, the mower started like a charm with no maintenance beyond sharpening the blades.
Most electric mowers have batteries. I special ordered a corded mower as batteries contain toxic chemicals and need to be replaced periodically. The people I know who bought battery motors have had to replace their machines.
But you came here to learn about my HIVE empire.
I like to run a monthly recap at the end of each month. I've been doing so since August,2021. This page shows the monthly recap. The purpose of the tally is to track the progress of my account over time. NOTE I borrowed $480 to buy HIVE a few years ago ... which I am gradually repaying. I hope to repay it in the next couple of years.
The gray line shows the account value. The blue line shows the value minus the loan.
It looks like the account was flat for the month. My total coin holdings increased by 20,000 coins, but the value of the account dipped a bit. It dropped three dollars from $2,731 to $2,728.
The big news for the month is that I borrowed another $15 to buy credits for the DALL-E AI image generator which I will use on my posts. I've generated 9 images so far. These are the images.
The other big news is that I created a new account named @buynburn . As the name of the account implies, this account uses its HBD rewards to buy and burn tokens on #hive-engine.
It has made one hive dollar so far. With this HBD, the account has burned 14,000 coins with another 5000 in queue. This page tracks the burns
Maybe burning some of the failed coins will help the HE ecosystem.
Now for the Tally
I have three accounts. My personal account is @yintercept. I registered @irivers and @vagabondspirit for projects I considered releasing on HIVE. I did not as I saw the HE coins were all tumbling.
Currently @vagabondspirit curates #CCC posts and @irivers curates #STEM posts. Dedicated curators seem to do better on HE than accounts that invest in multiple coins and curate all posts.
