Hey everyone, it's been a while since my last post!
I've been doing AI-generated music and video production for over a year now, and with Suno's new version release and the evolution of video generation AI, I jumped right in to create two new tracks.
First up was my usual Indian-style MV. My self-proclaimed "Salami Series" has gotten much better at generating stable characters thanks to Google's NanoBanana project. However, adding action elements still gets a lot of rejections, which was quite a struggle. I wonder if this will be resolved in the future through professional video production tools with personal authentication systems, or if we'll just have to work locally on our own... definitely something to keep an eye on.
Then I tried my hand at Citypop for the first time. Since I love SHOGUN (a Japanese artist), I decided to lean towards that style and create something with Citypop vibes plus Minneapolis sound - kind of a random idea, but why not? Suno is really fun when you add instrument direction cues in the lyrics - it responds pretty well to what you're aiming for! I definitely recommend everyone give it a try. While that was enjoyable, creating the video was absolutely exhausting. I started out thinking "I'm gonna make a stylish MV!" but couldn't visualize any scenes at all, so I ended up in give-up mode halfway through and just settled for something basic.
I thought adding visuals would make it cooler, so I tried my best, but hey, I guess this is good enough for a first attempt.
The evolution of generative AI over the past year has been incredible. Not just LLMs, but video diffusion models have improved so much. In just a few years, it seems like we'll be living in a world where AI assistance for video and music will be completely normal. Since we're in this chaotic transitional period, we might as well enjoy it to the fullest while we can!

久しぶりの投稿です。
私が1年以上続けている生成AIを使った音楽・動画制作ですが、Sunoの新バージョンリリースと動画生成AIの進化を受けて、早速新作を2つ作ってみました。
まずは定番のインド風MVから作成。勝手にシリーズ化している「サラミシリーズ」はGoogleのNanoBananaプロジェクトのおかげで人物が安定して生成できるようになりました。ただ、アクション要素を入れるとNGが多く、かなり苦戦しました。
この辺りは今後、映像制作専門用とかで個人認証システムで解放されるのかな？とかそれともローカルで自分で頑張るしかないんかな？とか今後の動きに要注目したいところです。
そしてCitypop風楽曲に初挑戦。SHOGUN（日本のアーティスト）が好きなので、そっちに寄せて、Citypop風な音楽＋ミネアポリスサウンドを足してみるかという謎のノリで作成。Sunoは歌詞に一部楽器の演出指示を入れると割と狙った感じに動いてくれてそれが非常に楽しい！皆さんも是非ともやってみてください。
それは楽しかったのですが、映像を作るのが本当に疲れました。はじめは「小洒落たMVにしてやるぜ！」と意気込んだものの、全然シーンが思い浮かばなくて途中から投げやりモードで作成してしまい、おまけ程度でいいやと最後は妥協してしまいました。映像つけた方がお洒落かなと思ったので頑張りましたが、まぁはじめはこんなもんだろうと自分を慰めてます。
1年前から格段に進化した生成AI、LLMもそうですが、映像系のDiffusionモデルもすごく進化してて、あと数年したら当たり前に映像も音楽もほとんどのことが、AIアシストされる世界線になりそうです。せっかく混沌とした過渡期にいるのだから、今のうちに存分に楽しまないと損ですよね。
