The only reality show that made me consciously watch it, unable to skip even a second. This is a reality show that truly amazes me. The concept is well-thought-out and allows us to participate in every aspect of the story.
Crime Scene Zero is a reality show that keeps us guessing and playing the detective. It stars five South Korean celebrities renowned for their skillful acting, along with one special guest star who also appears in South Korean dramas and films.
This reality show is making a comeback from its 2017 release, acquired by Netflix and revamped with a much better and more engaging format. Each celebrity adds to the story's anticipation. What I love most is how they deduce the truth and accuse each other, with perfectly fitting comedic scenes that are effortless and flow effortlessly.
The studio setting is truly stunning. Every detail is so realistic, I wonder how this was even created in a studio? It must have cost a huge budget, and there's even an elevator in the studio building?
The cases become increasingly varied, even though they seem absurd and comedic at the end. My favorite was the third case, where it turns out no one could guess who the prime suspect was because the case had so many layers to it. Who would have thought he was the main culprit?
In the previous series in 2017, everyone was assigned a role when the cards were revealed at the beginning, but in Crime Scene Zero 2025, the action was done behind the scenes, making everything even more meticulously planned by the cast. While fans will certainly miss these scenes, it's a welcome change.
Will this reality show continue in the future? I think it's something to look forward to, and hopefully, it won't be as long as the previous one.
