In this day and age, awareness of plants and living things among teenagers is very low. Therefore, many schools organize classes and exhibitions about plants, crops, and vegetables at school. Indeed, this kind of thing should be taught from an early age by parents. We understand how important it is to care for living things other than humans.
One example is a friend who is currently a high school teacher who asked me to create a simple project to teach about growing vegetables and plants. We've done a small project on hydroponics, but now we're teaching another project: growing vegetables in polybags.
I'm very experienced in hydroponics, but unfortunately, I'm not as experienced in growing vegetables in soil, but I can do it. In fact, this bok choy (bok choy) sprouted from seeds that I planted for over three days. It sprouted and began to produce leaves.
The thing I struggle with keeping the leaves from being eaten by caterpillars and pests, as I had done before. This is an example of a vegetable I planted, and all of them were eaten by caterpillars. I don't use any pesticides.
If you're asking about hydroponics, I can certainly grow it very easily, and it's even very thriving. Like the lettuce on my hydroponic shelf, it's growing very well and is even crispy just by looking at it from the outside. That's why I prefer hydroponics, despite not having a large yard. They're absolutely beautiful.
