-----
Known as the land of a thousand pagodas, Old Bagan is a place of global significance, steep in the history of human civilization. For thousands of years, this land is home to great nations and prosperous lives, give birth to Old Bagan, a vibrant religion.
As we know, India's influence on the Pagan kingdom was truly strong. This is where everything began, a wealth that no other country possesses, as each country has its own unique characteristics.
Here, I'm right at one of the pagodas in Old Bagan, Thitsawadi Temple. There's no other place to visit than pagoda to pagoda. You can only learn about one pagoda or temple in Old Bagan, but that doesn't mean it's meaningless.
This temple has been around since 1335 and was restored in 1484. To this day, Thitsawadi Temple continues to be used for religious rituals. I can tell this because it still houses a large and well maintain Buddha statue. Looking through a small gap, I can see a Buddha statue in golden robes, sitting and smiling faintly.
From the outside, this temple appears neglected, with grass grow right on top of the building, it's apparently still in use. Perhaps not everyone can use this temple, most are monks, descendants of monks, or whatever. It's also possible for others to enter because it's unlocked.
According to reports, this temple is one of the most famous. Its structure appears very tall and has a very long, upward-reaching roof, as I saw from the information board about the temple's structure. However, in reality, this isn't the case. Did this temple ever collapse right at the top? It's truly unfortunate, due to a lack of attention and maintenance by the government.
This is a valuable legacy, a treasured piece of history, and one of Burma's beauties to this day. Anyone would be amazed by the city of a thousand pagodas; it's like a rare time travel from a bygone era. This should be preserved and preserved to ensure that Old Bagan remains its true glory.
However, I be able to experience and enjoy this beauty. I'm fortunate to have been able to visit a place like this.
