It's a place to come home when you looking for something safe, comfortable, and enjoy or effortless. That i mean, when you want something, without thinking too hard, you find a place, whether it's a place to eat or a place to go, without having to think too much, and suddenly you find it.
That's what happened with this restaurant. For some reason, this place as always become my home. The vibe, the food, and the services. All of that make me love this restaurant so much.
No one in my city doesn't know this restaurant, seriously! It's not only me, many people love this place because of the consistency, so there's no need to worry about bringing guests, family and firens from out of town for lunch or dinner.
Nelayan Café offers a wide variety of traditional Chinese food. Even the food on the menu never disappoint, if it's just a plate of rice. They serve the food with love and the same proportion every day and every taste.
The restaurant look like it's at the bottom of the ocean. You can see the abundance of Chinese oriental ornamentation here. Even the pillars are carved with coiled dragons, but the dark lighting and blue lights made it feel like I was at the bottom of the sea with the dragons.
Uniquely, they don't provide a menu. Instead, there's a large piece of paper on the table, provided for each seat. It's filled with the names and prices of all the dishes.
I ordered a variety of dishes, including the original kwe tiaw (rice noodles), the fisherman's style noodles, and two desserts: the salted egg dumplings and the salted egg pao (rice buns). All of the dishes menu were perfect choices, perfectly fitting my mood this weekend.
Of course, every time I been here, the taste is always the same, unchanging and consistent. Their flavors are truly unbeatable, so anyone who comes here always wants to experience the truly delicious flavors of the menu.
Of all the restaurants I've been to, Fisherman's Cafe truly holds the highest regard. That's why, I will always come, come back, and come again.
