Good day everyone. It's me again Ish for another art blog, so for today's art blog is another portrait sketch that's in my WIPs list, and now I finally finished the portrait sketch.
If you've already checked and read my previous post, here: Friend's Grandmother - A Farewell Sketch Portrait On this blog I also mentioned this artwork on the trivia section and it's a WIP sketch that I started last February this year.
Actually, I have an ongoing commission/project from a fellow hiver for her merch and we need to finalize things first and have an agreement or approval from her to share the final work. She told me that there's no need to rush and we don't have a deadline so I ended up doing my old sketches and for me to make a post and I wanna share it with you guys.
STORY ABOUT THE ART
The woman that I sketched is @kneelyrac and yeah she's also a hiver and one of my good friends here in Web3 or the cryptospace. We've never met in person but she keeps on supporting me on my art journey and giving me updates about Twice K-Pop Group mostly to Mina, Sana, and Momo because we are both fans of the J-Line Girls "MISAMO". For me, the funny part about our friendship was our call sign and I forgot when it started, we called each other "Mamsh" It's a usual girls and gays thing here in our country. I'm straight and sometimes I was thinking maybe people think that I'm not straight cuz maybe I'm one of the girls, most likely surrounded or talking more with girls. I think the only thing why it always ends this way maybe it was my feminine side or traits.

Anyway, let's go to the main story of the art, last year October 5th I made an IG story saying "Looking for sponsor of colored markers" because most of my colored pens were totally dry, then @kneelyrac saw my IG story and messaged me saying (not the exact words) "Mamsh look for the pens you want or needed, then give me your details, name, number, address" then I was shocked because my IG story was totally a joke and I didn't expect anyone to buy me a new set of markers. LOL! 🤣
So she insisted on buying me a new set of colored markers, and this is what she bought for me. 80 pcs of touch five markers. To give back the favor I told her I'll make a sketch portrait for her birthday last February but sadly I wasn't able to finish the sketch for some reason.
So yeah I don't want the story to be any longer so that's it for the art story.
WORK IN PROGRESS For today's art blog, the WIP's photos for this art have no sections because I started working or sketching the eyes, so it's just photos of the progress and I hope you guys still like it.

TRIVIA
The reason why I used the word "Besto Friendo" is because I also sketched Caryl's best friend before, Her name is Argine and it was also a birthday gift sketch portrait, I kept it in my journal so I was able to take a photo of the two sketches. Maybe next time, I might do a blog about Argine's sketch portrait.
By the way the word "Besto Friendo" came and grabbed from the anime "Jujutsu Kaisen"
ENDING MESSAGE
I always tell Caryl that I envy their friendship, even if they have small fights or misunderstandings they talk about it and fix it, after that they will order foods, eat together, and then everything will be back to normal. LOL! I also just want to say thank you for the support until now, Caryl is one of my friends that I run or talk to when I'm having a short financial crisis. HAHAHA. Thank you mamsh and I wish you all the best and keep safe, as always.
