Un día decidiste cerrar tus ojos, no sin antes posar tu nariz fría en mis temblorosas manos. Tu cuerpo tendido al clamor de la tierra que esperaba el turno de abrazar tu carne.
Dormida, expulsando el último hálito de tu vida, dejabas este plano terrenal para correr en los campos del paraíso eterno.
La congoja, presa de mi alma, con el dolor latente en el pecho, cabe el agujero en el fondo del jardín, allí donde dormías a la sombra del árbol, que, al parecer, tanto te gustaba.
Delicadamente, cargué tu cuerpo inerte, aún tibio, sin tu alma en él, sin tus ronroneos suaves, y es que eras una gata tan delicada que parecía que tu trote era sobre las esponjosas nubes.
Cubrí tu cuerpo, en medio de las lágrimas, y te fuiste plácida al descanso eterno, pequeña minina, pequeña Roberta, que hoy juegas entre las nubes trotando siempre delicada.
