Abrasoles amigos amantes del anime :)
Para quienes somos asiduos a ver anime, en ocasiones quedamos con “colapsos internos” debido a que no sabemos qué ver y muchas veces volvemos a ver algo conocido. Esto me ha ocurrido muchas veces, pero en ocasiones llega alguno que llama mi atención y luego ya al ver, veo si me atrapa o escapo de él rápidamente.
Así estaba, cuando encontré el anime, más bien una serie ona Eve no jikan de cortos seis capítulos. Esta serie es algo antigua, su difusión digital empezó en el año 2008 hasta 2010, donde se recopiló la serie dando paso a una película.
Introducción del anime
En un futuro, no tan distante, la coexistencia entre humanos y robots es habitual en la sociedad, ambas partes forman una nueva sociedad en donde los humanos menosprecian a los robots. Para los humanos, estos carecen de sentimientos y emociones y son meras máquinas de trabajo, herramientas para lo cotidiano y así facilitar sus propias existencias.
No obstante, en medio de esta “vida”, hay humanos que empatizan con las máquinas y los ven como sus “amigos”, esto se debe a que los robots, no son máquinas a la vista y más bien su apariencia “casi” humana los “camufla” en este sistema.
La trama
La historia gira en torno a Rikuo Sakisaka un joven humano, estudiante de secundaria. Rikuo es un excelente pianista y ha ganado varios premios, sin embargo, su motivación cae al suelo cuando ve que un robot puede tocar el piano sin previos estudios, se frustra al ver que su capacidad es mayor y al mismo siente que la emoción en la pieza musical carece de sentimientos. Este hecho, provoca que se aleje de la música ya que siente que su esfuerzo no vale la pena en lo absoluto.
Por otro lado, Rikuo, fue educado en una sociedad donde los robots son herramientas de uso, debido a esto siente la curiosidad de saber más acerca de ellos y decide observaron detenimiento al robot de su familia, Sammy una robot de apariencia femenina.
Para poder entender y tener otra opinión, Rikuo, pide ayuda a su mejor amigo Masakazu Misaki y juntos hacen la investigación en torno a Sammy. No obstante, Sammy, al estar en la casa de los Sakisaka refleja una falta de emocionalidad digna de una robot, educada y pasiva, sin embargo tras esa fachada hay una realidad distinta.
Rikuo, observa que Sammy se marcha por las tardes y decide seguirla, es así que en conjunto a su amigo, llegan a una cafetería, una que se ve muy normal, pero por dentro es totalmente distinta. La cafetería llamada Time of Eve parece una guarida para robots, dentro, ellos beben café y muestran emociones variadas, alegría, enojo, etc, haciendo ver que son muy similares a los humanos y que no les gusta ser considerados “herramientas” y ya.
Por otro lado Nagi la propietaria de la cafetería solo busca una cosa, aquello es la igualdad y dentro de su cafetería se respeta seas humano o robot. Aunque en ciertas ocasiones, hay circunstancias que no puede manejar y salen de sus manos.
Al transcurso de su tiempo, al parecer Rikuo y Sammy, su robot, empiezan a tener sentimientos mutuos, cosa que no se refleja del todo, creando una duda sobre el final de la serie. Además se nos deja abierta a la imaginación adivinar quienes son o no los robots dentro de la cafetería.
Mi opinión
Esta serie anime me gustó ya que el mensaje que nos ofrece en sus cortos capítulos es muy potente y lleno de veracidad.
Nos enseña que la igualdad debe estar presente sin distinción, por otro lado se nos plantean temas tales como la segregación y la discriminación, haciendo ver que por ser distintos se puede pasar por sobre sus derechos, ademas de que nos muestra el prejuicio constante por lo anteriormente mencionado.
En cuanto a la igualdad, la cafetería nos hace alusión a que dentro de las distintas sociedades siempre habrá un punto neutro dispuesto a que todos coexistan en paz.
En cuanto a la animación, es bastante aceptable, se juega con los personajes creados en 2D y nos escenarios en 3D logrando un aspecto visual bonito.
No obstante, puede su trama puede ser repetitiva y constante, más siento que es para reclamar su mensaje de igualdad, en cuanto al ritmo, es algo lento ya que se centra mayoritariamente en lo que sus personajes sienten a cada instante.
Por otro lado, en un comienzo Eve no jikan era una webserie por su episodios cortos, lo cual lo llevó a compilarla y transformarla en una película.
¿Me gustó?
Diaria qué si, es corta, cumple su propósito en cuanto al análisis de la sociedad de hoy en día.
¿La volvería a ver?
Por el momento no, pero siento que sería una buena opción para enseñar en una sala de clases por la moraleja qué entrega.

That's how it was when I found this anime, or rather a six-episode ona Eve no jikan series of shorts. This series is quite old, having been broadcast digitally from 2008 to 2010, when the series was compiled into a movie.
Introduction to the anime
In the not-so-distant future, the coexistence of humans and robots is commonplace in society, with both sides forming a new society in which humans look down on robots. For humans, robots lack feelings and emotions and are mere work machines, tools for everyday life that facilitate their own existence.
However, in the midst of this "life," there are humans who empathize with the machines and see them as their "friends." This is because robots are not machines at first glance; rather, their "almost" human appearance "camouflages" them in this system.
The plot
The story revolves around Rikuo Sakisaka, a young human high school student. Rikuo is an excellent pianist and has won several awards, but his motivation plummets when he sees that a robot can play the piano without any prior training. He becomes frustrated when he realizes that the robot's ability is greater than his own, and at the same time, he feels that the emotion in the musical piece lacks feeling. This causes him to distance himself from music, as he feels that his efforts are not worth it at all.
On the other hand, Rikuo was raised in a society where robots are tools for use, so he is curious to learn more about them and decides to closely observe his family's robot, Sammy, a female-looking robot.
In order to understand and form another opinion, Rikuo asks his best friend Masakazu Misaki for help, and together they investigate Sammy. However, Sammy, living in the Sakisaka household, reflects a lack of emotion befitting a robot, polite and passive, but behind that facade lies a different reality.
Rikuo notices that Sammy leaves in the afternoons and decides to follow her. Together with his friend, they arrive at a coffee shop that looks very normal on the outside but is completely different on the inside. The cafe, called Time of Eve, seems like a hideout for robots. Inside, they drink coffee and show various emotions, such as joy and anger, making them seem very similar to humans and showing that they do not like to be considered mere "tools."
On the other hand, Nagi, the owner of the café, seeks only one thing: equality. Inside her café, everyone is respected, whether human or robot. However, on certain occasions, there are circumstances that she cannot handle and that are beyond her control.
As time goes by, it seems that Rikuo and Sammy, her robot, begin to have feelings for each other, which is not fully reflected, creating doubt about the ending of the series. It also leaves it up to our imagination to guess who are and who are not the robots in the cafe.
My opinion
I liked this anime series because the message it offers us in its short episodes is very powerful and full of truth.
It teaches us that equality must be present without distinction. On the other hand, it raises issues such as segregation and discrimination, showing us that being different can lead to your rights being overlooked, as well as showing us the constant prejudice that comes with the aforementioned.
In terms of equality, the cafeteria alludes to the fact that within different societies there will always be a neutral point where everyone can coexist in peace.
The animation is quite acceptable, playing with 2D characters and 3D settings to achieve a beautiful visual appearance.
However, the plot can be repetitive and constant, but I feel that this is to reinforce its message of equality. In terms of pace, it is somewhat slow as it focuses mainly on what the characters are feeling at each moment.
On the other hand, Eve no Jikan was originally a web series due to its short episodes, which led to it being compiled and transformed into a movie.
Did I like it?
I would say yes, it is short and fulfills its purpose in terms of analyzing today's society.
Would I watch it again?
Not at the moment, but I feel it would be a good option to show in a classroom because of the moral it conveys.
