Hey Hivers, how have you been doing? It's been hectic days for me here. Qurator's photo quest for last week is Patterns, and I missed the deadline owing to my crazy schedule. Nonetheless, this is a fun theme about which I'd like to share with you some of my photographs.
We can see patterns in various subjects around us. They might be created intentionally or be the result of natural processes. The recurring elements in forms, colours and textures often grab me. I can stare at them for a long time, captivated by the intriguing sense of visual rhythm.
In this post, my photos highlight the geometric shapes of architecture, mostly residential buildings along Spain's Mediterranean coast. I captured these images in several seaside towns from the Costa del Azahar to the Costa Blanca, yes, the area rich in vitamin sea and sun. :)
In addition to the straight lines frequently observed in manmade structures, these patterns involve prominent curves and circles. I loved the sleek wavy adobes in white, beige, terra cotta, and all the other earthy hues, bathed in glorious sunlight and dancing against the endless blue sky.
Qurator上周的摄影主题是Patterns，因为太忙错过了参加期限，但我觉得这是个很有意思的主题，还是来分享一些照片。
我们的周围充满各种patterns（类似"图案"），有自然存在的，也有人为创造的。那些形状、颜色和纹理的重复元素常常吸引到我，可以盯着它们看很久，从而忘记了时间。
这里的一组照片以建筑的几何形状为主体，拍自地中海沿岸的一些西班牙海滨小城，从橙花海岸到白色海岸，都是些终年阳光普照的地方。
除了人造结构中常见的直线条外，这些楼房也都有着突出的曲线。那些大地色系的波浪形土坯们，沐浴在灿烂的阳光中，在无边无际的蓝天里翩翩起舞。
