Praying Corporately
I attended an evening service at Dominion City with my friend and for the first time I was enlightened and educated on the need to engage in corporate prayer session.
I used to think corporate prayer was a hypocritical way of communicating with God but after this service, my eyes became wide. Below are compilations from the note taken down from the teaching of the Bible through Pastor Sarah Agu and personal research done by me.
Prayer is an heavenly license to earthly intervention. With prayer we give heaven the license to intervene in the affairs of men. James 4: 2-3 Matthew 21: 22
The main word for today is not just pray but pray corporately There is so much need For prayer.
Conditions for effective prayer
- Remove every obstacle from the way such as; bitterness and negativity.
- You need answers to your prayers. Come with a broken heart and contrite spirit.
- God despises the proud. He said he resists a proud man, he opposes him. Be humble.
