Hi there, writers! Hope you're doing fine!
After a long week of work; dealing with teenagers, teen drama, arguments, and unfair treatment, the weekend finally arrived.
I like these kinds of prompts because I don't know how to draw very well, and stick figures, although they look easy, also have their trick.
This weekend, I hope it will be a bit more relaxed, although I doubt it. I usually use the weekend to do all the housework I don't do during the week; sweeping the house, doing laundry, cleaning the bathroom and kitchen, mopping the floor, and grading student's work.
Sometimes I think of my weekends as housework days, hahaha. Just a disguise of rest for those of us who spend all week with teenagers. And it's not bad, because to be honest, I have quite a bit of fun. I always say that whoever lives bitterly in a high school is because they want to. There's so much drama there that sometimes I just think of how many stories I could write. Hahaha.
Luckily, the school year is ending, which means I will have a well-deserved vacation, I think that's one of the perks of being a teacher.
I think once I have my vacation I will be able to recreate my ideal weekend captured in this ugly drawing hahaha. A day to read, listen to music and watch movies eating popcorn. I like simple things, with these little things I'm happy. And if someone asked me out, I might as well give it a try.
Some say that there's no better time to be happy than now, and I think it is true.
I guess that's all.
