It's me again, your cutie blogger for the Philippines,@itsmejustine. It's been a few days since I last uploaded my blog post. I've been very busy lately with my research. How are you guys???!!! .. Through my years in college I have a lot of reflection and realization in life. There are lots of feelings and emotions students might feel. Life is not easy; we go through many hardships that cause us to have character development. In college, we cannot avoid the various emotions and challenges that we need to face. **Sad Things that students always feel;** ![1759020780494.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/itsmejustine/EpnDhe4wABgvyUDf6z994m9tgmvKg3GWqtvyV5SCNzWtUjEMK3S5mbWRfSDduajRRkT.jpg) 1. **Fear of Being a disappointment...** The pressure to not let anyone down is real, especially when I mess up myself. College is basically a disappointment factory, tbh. Many things can cause it, and it's not healthy because it damages your mental health. "It totally sad when you're always stressing about messing up. Like a punishment. Like, you can't even do what you want to do because you are so scared of not being good enough for everyone else. You always think of everyone but the question how about yourself?? Who will take care of it??. That fear will block you from finding out who you really are and what you can really do. But we are all human! "We all mess up, okay? 'Cause nobody's perfect, just like no one can survive completely on their own.".. What's important is, you will remember your mistakes. Because in every mistakes there's always a lesson that you can get. Honestly, instead of totally stressing out, just try to adapt and ride the wave. We all get that even if it's just tiny steps, it's still forward momentum. So, definitely use your mistakes to level up and become an even better version of yourself.... **2.) That pressure to make everyone proud...** ![1759020757531.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/itsmejustine/Eopr4eqZhH98siNs9vNaNnvmuAJqivW6wcYFsbqFe7qSyNkAXQJLdgztR5xFb2mxH3z.jpg) That pressure to make everyone proud Seriously, it feels like this huge weight on your chest, ya know? Like, you're doing everything to please them, and every little thing you do depends on what they think, right? Freshman year? That was so me. I was so pressured 'cause I wanted to prove I could do it, that I was worthy of their pride. I didn't even realize they were already proud, lol. But, like, sometimes you just can't help but compare yourself, so the pressure is always there, ya know? And then it hit me – it's kinda messed up. You're always tripping about whether what you did was good enough, if they'll even approve. You're always thinking about what they want but you totally forgot what you want to achieve for ourselves. Being proud of yourself is much better than getting the thumbs-up from everyone else. A success that comes from your heart and not just trying to please everyone else, is so much more awesome and actually means something. **3.) Hiding pain to keep the peace....,** ![1759020891421.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/itsmejustine/23xAPPHsYK64yT59tqBNN2SJ4CYfCvnoeZutk4MYob8nGH1e6vxSHHyoqZZ28YhjxLNPU.jpg) Hiding your pain just to keep the peace is sometimes what an individual do. It's like putting on a fake smile to protect everyone else from your own drama. We might act all happy and stuff, even when we're dying inside. Hiding your pain to keep the peace... who hasn't been there, right? It's like, you gotta put on fake smile so no one knows that you're totally falling apart. We act all chill and fine, even when we're, like, low-key freaking out on the inside. We do it because we don't wanna dump all our problems on people ,everyone's got their own stuff, so it's easier to just keep it all to yourself. We think it's simpler to just be quiet and act like everything's perfect. But bottling up how you really feel? Can totally mess up with your head and your feelings. But, it's important to remember that "it's totally okay to not be okay". Everyone goes through tough stuff, for real. That's why it's so clutch to have someone you can actually talk to and just spill everything to.... Keeping your pain a secret just makes you feel super isolated and makes it way harder to get back on your feet." It's legit better to be honest about your struggles and hit up your squad, or whoever you trust, for help.”
