Hi my dear Hivers! Since I have nothing to do right now, I thought of making a story. Hehehe. Please bear with me—it's not that good yet. I just made it out of boredom.
It's the part 2 of the story of " LOVE ME AGAIN, CHYNLEIGH"

Chapter 2
CHIN POV
“Chin, wait up!” Dyllan called, running after me.
“What, Dy? Are you here to annoy me again? Please, not today. I’m in a bad mood, okay?”
“Ouhh, what happened to you? Dyllan said, using his teasing voice…I didn’t even do anything yet!”
“Tsskkk… just stay where you are.”
As I walked through the hallway, my heart skipped when I saw him…my crush.
He’s a fourth-year engineering student, while I’m just a second-year education major.
Sigh… why does he have to be so good-looking?
His skin is flawless, his smile could melt anyone, and his voice…ugh, perfection.
Then suddenly, a light tap landed on my head.
I turned around…and of course, it was Dyllan.
“Tsskkk! What’s your problem? Can’t you see I’m busy admiring someone here?” I said, walking away toward my classroom.
Yeah, unfortunately, Dyllan and I are classmates.
He used to want to take engineering, but guess what? He suddenly switched to education.
Don’t ask me why. I still don’t get it either.
“Tsskkk. Busy, huh? More like drooling over that guy who isn’t even that handsome,” Dyllan teased, dropping his bag on the chair beside mine. “I’m way better-looking than him, you know.”
“Dyllan, please. Just shut up,” I said, rolling my eyes. “More handsome, you say? You should look in the mirror first.”
“Tsskkk. He’s nothing compared to me,” he said with a smirk, flexing his arm. “See this? He doesn’t have this.”
I sighed and took my seat. “Ugh, just stop showing off. He’s the only one who looks good in my eyes, okay? Now move over. I want to sit here.”
“He’s not even that good-looking,” Dyllan mumbled, clearly jealous. “I’m fair-skinned too, you know… tsskkk…”
“What are you mumbling about over there?” I asked, narrowing my eyes.
“Tsskkk… nothing,” he said, pretending to focus on his notebook.
“Good morning, class,” said Miss Patricia as she entered the room.
“Good morning, Miss Patricia,” we greeted in unison.
“Alright, take out your assignments. We’ll check them.”
Great, I thought. Miss Patricia again…the terror of the department.
While I rummaged through my bag for my pen, I realized it wasn’t there.
Oh no… I probably left it in my room. I looked at Dyllan. Maybe he’d lend me one.
“Pssst… Dy.”
“Pssst… Dy!”
But he didn’t hear me.
“Miss Ramirez?” Miss Patricia suddenly turned to me. “Do you have something to say?”
Sheesh. I’m doomed.
“Nothing, ma’am,” I said quickly, forcing a smile.
“Eyes on your paper.”
As soon as she turned around, I nudged Dyllan’s arm. “Dy, lend me a pen, please.”
He looked at me with a smug grin. “Oh, so now you need me? Weren’t you the one scolding me earlier?”
“Just give it, please,” I whispered.
He sighed dramatically before handing me a pen. “Here. You’re unbelievable.”
I grinned, taking it. “Hehehe… thanks, Dy. You’re literally heaven-sent! That’s why you’re my best friend!” I said, putting my arm around his shoulder playfully.
“Hehh. Sweet talker,” he muttered, but I caught the small smile on his lips.
The class went on quietly until finally…
“Alright, that’s all for today. Class dismissed,” Miss Patricia announced before leaving the room.
“Finally,” I breathed out in relief, stretching my arms.
As we packed our things, Dyllan walked beside me. Without warning, he slung his arm casually over my shoulders.
“Come on, Chin!!!!!. Let’s go.”
I rolled my eyes but couldn’t help smiling.
“Ugh, you’re so annoying…”
He just laughed softly. “And yet, you still can’t get rid of me.”
We walked out of the room together…me pretending to be annoyed and him grinning like he always does.
Same chaos. Same, Dyllan.
And maybe… just maybe, something I’ll never admit out loud…the same warmth I’ve started to get used to.
“Chin! Wait!!!”
Someone called out from behind me. I didn’t even have to turn around…I already knew that voice. That high-pitched, cheerful tone could only belong to one person.
I turned and saw her…Trisha, one of my best friends and our ever-diligent class president. She’s small, loud, and always full of energy. Sometimes I wonder how someone that tiny can make her voice echo through the entire hallway.
Beside her was her boyfriend, Nathaniel Uy Monteverde…yes, that Monteverde, cousin of Dyllan Cruz-Chua. They’ve been together since high school. Can you believe that? Years and still going strong. Sana all, right?
I lifted an eyebrow at her. “What is it, Trish?”
She smiled mischievously, lips curling into a teasing grin. “Hmm… you and Dyllan, huh? Something’s going on, isn’t it?” She winked at me like she knew something I didn’t.
I frowned. “What are you even talking about? Do you see something I don’t?” I looked left, then right, pretending to check around us.
“You’re being weird again.”
Nathaniel laughed and wrapped his arm around Trisha’s shoulders. “Come on, babe. Let’s leave them alone.”
Trisha giggled, clearly enjoying my confusion. “You should look around more often, Chin,” she teased, glancing…was that at Dyllan? For a second, her eyes flickered toward him, and I could’ve sworn there was something in that look. A secret? Or maybe I was just imagining things.
She walked off with her boyfriend, leaving me standing there with Dyllan beside me…quiet, serious, and… staring.
I turned to him, squinting. “What? Why are you looking at me like that? Do I have something on my face?” I waved my hand in front of him, but he didn’t answer.
Still nothing.
“Tsssk.” I flicked his forehead lightly. “Hey! Snap out of it, will you?”
He blinked, finally coming back to reality. “Huh? Oh…nothing. I just remembered something.” His voice was softer now, almost distracted.
“Yeah, right,” I muttered. “Let’s go. I’m starving.”
And before he could say anything else, I grabbed my bag and started walking toward the cafeteria…pretending not to notice that quiet look on his face that said he remembered something more than just a random thought.
WWOOAAHHH what kind of look is that Dylan???
What do you think my dear Hivers??
