Hey Hivers! It's your girl from the Philippines, back with another story!

Sup, Hivers! My bad for ghosting, but life's been a wild ride lately! 😅 But hey, I'm back, and I'm dragging you all along on my latest fam adventure!

You know me – a vacation isn't a real vacation unless there's a beach involved. I was seriously craving some vitamin sea before diving back into textbooks, and guess what? It finally happened! So, we basically bailed on adulting and beelined it to Maravilla, the white sand beach that's been blowing up my feed. And fam, let me tell you, it's worth the hype! The sand was seriously unreal—like, straight-outta-a-postcard kinda white. 🤩 And the view? Ugh, breathtaking! ✨

Okay, so legit the second my feet hit the sand, I was already plotting my dive into the water. I'm talking crystal-clear water, where you could see your toes doing the wiggle dance! And the whole place? Total Instagram goals, you know? The beach was absolutely 🔥 with good vibes, everyone was swimming and soaking up the sun, and we were totally feeling the hype. We didn't exactly pack a gourmet spread, but we were stuffed to the point of needing a siesta anyway! 🤣 We brought the ultimate Pinoy comfort food squad: kamote, saging, rice, and adobo.

And you know how it goes – no family outing is complete without a gazillion photos, right? Out of nowhere, my sister morphed into a legit pro photographer, yelling at us to gather 'round for a spontaneous photoshoot. We were totally down, cracking jokes and serving up poses like we were born to slay the camera. We snapped pics of every one. single. angle, trying out the most extra, over-the-top poses you can possibly imagine. 😂

I was seriously living for every single moment we spent goofing around with my fam, feeling all the warmth and fuzzies for the chance to just chill and bond. It's not every day we get to chill, just the five of us, without all the school stress, work drama, and that whole adulting thing. Those pics we snapped? They're basically gonna be like little memory bombs, reminding us of all the laughs, good vibes, and love we shared that day. ❤️
After snapping a ton of pics, we hauled it back to our cottage to change and get ready to dive into the sea. I had a blast getting in the water, even though I'm basically a non-swimmer. But it was still a total blast watching my fam have the time of their lives.

Then, out of nowhere, these two big guys show up and start playing music. No big stage or anything, just them and their instruments, I couldn't forget until now. They weren’t even singing words—just this chill melody that blended with the sound of the waves.

What made it even better was that my baby niece suddenly started dancing. Like, completely unexpected. Ya know? She's only one, so it was just this wobbly little baby dance, but it was honestly cute and adorable. We all laughed and just watched her enjoy the music and wiggle her hips.
When the guys finished, we clapped really loud'cause, honestly, that takes confidence ya know!?? to just perform out of nowhere like that. We gave them some cash as a tip, and invited them to eat but they happily declined our offer because they have things to do. It was just a simple thing, but it felt super special, y'know? Like, instant core memory! ✨

Also another highlights or one of my fav in our beach trip was definitely the food! Yeeikkksss like Super yummy since it's Filipino Cuisine. I grabbed some fresh scallops and suka from this vendor, and OMG, they were so good! I bought scallops since my dad loves them, and yeahhhh, he was seriously on the hunt for more 'cause he finished them off so fast! So I took a picture of him 'cause he wanted me to put it in my blog post so everyone could see him chowing down on his favorite seafood.Seriously, I savored every bite, loving the mix of flavors and textures. And get this—we were the last customers of the day, and the vendor surprised us with some freebies! Super nice, right? We totally appreciated the extra treats.

There were tons of food stalls at Maravilla, and we also brought cassava. My auntie specifically asked my grandma to cook cassava 'cause it's one of her faves too, and apparently her husband hasn't planted any cassava at their place. And even before we decided to go swimming at Maravilla, she already messaged me to make sure we brought some, 'cause it's been a while since she had any. So when I messaged her that we were bringing some, she was so happy!

We also rented a small boat. And yikes, I can't forget how we almost got scammed by those kids who said the rent was 250 for an hour! LOL. Good thing the actual boat owner showed up and said it was only 150, so we were super happy. And it was my first time riding something like that! Lots of firsts, but it was one of the best 'cause we had so much fun paddling around, even though we'd already changed our clothes. Memories that will etched in my heart.
Overall, it was a day remember. Memories that are hard to forget, especially since it was all happy moments. Until next time!
