**Hello, my dear Hivers!**
Today, I’ll be sharing with you all the 2-layer cage I got for my cat. Well, I actually already bought her a cage before, but the problem was that her litter box and food tray couldn’t fit inside. That’s why I decided to just buy a new one. But don’t worry, the old cage won’t go to waste. I still use it every time I bathe her because she tends to run away, which, honestly, is a good thing!
Just a short story time, I’ve always wanted to have a pet cat for the longest time, but I hesitated before because I didn’t have enough money to buy the essentials since I had no income yet. So I just admired other people’s cats, especially online. Before, watching cat videos alone already made me super happy. Then one day, while we were having group lunch with my barkada, Keziah mentioned that they had a cat at home and asked if anyone wanted to adopt it because it was too playful. Without hesitation, I said I’d adopt the cat, I really wanted a kitten, and luckily, I now have a little money and a source of income. End of story time!
Now, let me share with you the unboxing of my cat’s cage. By the way, my kitten’s name is Peanut.
I bought the cage through the Orange app, and I was super eager for it to arrive. I really wanted Peanut to have a decent cage since we have several dogs at home who constantly bother her, so I made it a priority to get her one.
As soon as the parcel came, it matched my order perfectly, a black cage. But when I first looked at it, I was slightly confused about how to assemble it, even though there was a manual. Minutes later I then decided to grab my phone and watch a video tutorial online instead. Thankfully, after a few attempts, I managed to assemble it correctly. The result was really nice and so worth the time assembling it!
What’s great about this cage is that it’s big, and all her essentials fit inside, no need to take her out just for eating or pooping.
Anyway, I also placed some cardboard under Peanut’s pillow and a cover on her pillow too because her tummy got upset from eating solid food. I only realized it later on and figured out that she’s not used to solid food like rice just yet.
I also gave her a bath, and she’s doing well now. After switching her food to wet food, she got better after a few days.
