**Hello, Hivers!**
How are you all? I hope life's treating you well.
Today, I would like to share you about our family gathering to celebrate my nanay's birthday. We chose to visit Maño, San Remigio, Cebu for a beach trip. Although there’s an entrance fee and charges for the cottages, it’s all worth it, especially since there were many of us. My aunt had already made reservations in advance, so when we arrived, everything was ready—our only task was to set up the food. It was also convenient for my aunt since their place is nearby.
This beach is our usual go-to spot for swimming because it’s clean, and the water is vast. We also like the staff there since they’re very approachable and accommodating.

**Our Travel Experience**

We started our journey by preparing our things and loading them onto a pickup truck, also known as a multicab. We took a shortcut, and the views along the way were breathtaking.

From this route, you can see mountains, trees, and lush greenery—everything was so soothing to the eyes. I sat in the back seat, where I could sit comfortably and enjoy the scenery. I couldn't stop shooting pictures since the scenery was so breathtaking.

However, throughout our drive, we discovered that one of the tires was deflated. Then unexpectedly, the tire burst while we were on the road because it was overinflated. We didn’t anticipate this problem, so my dad called his nephew to come and help us replace the tire.
We were determined to reach the beach since we had already prepared everything, and it would’ve been such a waste if we couldn’t continue. Everyone, including me, was so excited!

**Making the Most of the Moment**

While waiting for the new tire, I decided to make the most of the situation and capture some photos of the mountains. The place was so serene—surrounded by lush hills and fresh air. This experience reminded me to always look at the brighter side of things. Imagine, because of the delay, I got to enjoy the scenery and appreciate the beauty around me even more.

Aside from the mountains, I also took pictures of goats I saw nearby—because why not? Goats are fascinating animals! There were more goats further down the road, and I couldn’t help but admire their carefree nature.

As someone who truly loves nature, seeing these views and moments gives me an incredible sense of comfort. It’s like nature has this calming effect that soothes my soul.

**A Little Help Along the Way**

My uncle eventually arrived to check on us. He was worried because of the tire burst, but seeing that everything was under control put him at ease.

While waiting, I asked my friend to take some pictures of me with the beautiful view as the backdrop. I wanted to make the most of our time there, so I even took a close-up shot of myself.
**On the Road Again**

After an hour of waiting, the tire was replaced and YES we were ready to go. I was so excited to get to the beach that I could not sit still—my legs were jumping with anticipation. On the way, I took pictures of a school we passed by. If you’re familiar with this route, you’d recognize it when heading to Maño, San Remigio Beach.
