Hello, my dear Hivers!
Again, this is another part of my day where I’ll be sharing what happened after we had lunch at the house of the barangay captain. We still rode the barangay vehicle going to the office, but at first, the plan was for all of us to go there. Then, we changed the plan and decided to stop at Jared’s house instead so we could rest right away.

When we got on the vehicle, it was so cramped, hahaha! We couldn’t ride at the back because there might be a checkpoint. With barely any space left, we squeezed ourselves in, laughing and joking along the way to Jared’s because we were crammed together like sardines.

A few minutes later, we reached the highway and just walked to Jared’s place since it was inside a side road.As we made our way there, the plants along the roadside caught my attention. I’ve always been the type to soak in every bit of the scenery during a trip.

Also, here’s my friend who spotted some kind of fruit along the road and couldn’t help but pick it. We weren’t even sure what kind of fruit it was! Someone from our group teased my friend, Verjane, to taste it and find out if it was safe to eat, which made us all laugh.

As we continued walking, we saw lots of chilis that looked unusual to us because they were violet in color. I stopped to take pictures, and the others stopped too. We were all amazed. I didn’t pick any though.

Aside from that, there was also a white flower in bloom that looked so beautiful.

A few minutes later, we finally arrived at Jared’s place.
Then we started talking about what to eat because we were already hungry. Some suggested buying mangoes and shrimp, and we all agreed. Jared and Kuya Drew were the ones who went to buy the fruits. While waiting, some of us took a nap while others did karaoke. And me? I was one of those who fell asleep.

When they arrived, they woke me up, and yes, here came the food! They even had dragon fruits at Jared’s house, so they served them too for our snacks.
This is really our kind of bonding after the monthly program, gathering together and planning what food to eat to recharge our energy.
And that’s all for today’s blog, my dear Hivers. Thank you for reading!
