A Taste of Taiwanese Cuisine

The best way to immerse in a country's rich culture is through its food.

It was a sunny Saturday when a colleague asked me to join her for lunch. She wanted me to try a traditional Taiwanese food called "Hakka". As a person, I am always up for the challenge of trying new cuisine outside my comfort food. The place was jampacked with people. I could tell there were families gathered together and those with thei friends too. No matter how they are related, the fact remains that everyone has a common purpose of coming there and that is to enjoy the food! The wind can pass to and fro maybe because it has a high ceiling. Like the wind, the light passes through the window and illuminates everything inside. I told her to order whatever she liked because I could try them all. Deep inside, I was telling myself, "I hope this would taste good." I enjoyed the food so much.
