Good day to you, Hivers! Today, I'm taking you to the north of Bali, to Lovina Beach, famous for its dolphin watching. To do that, we got up at 5 in the morning and rode on our scooter for 2 hours through the cold mountains while the sun was rising. That's because the dolphins hide and swim away from the shore later in the day. We needed to be there at eight at the latest, so we got up so early.

And it was so worth it. We had a small, private boat and a small breakfast included in the price, and it was terrific. We saw so many dolphins. I couldn't believe my eyes! They were everywhere and their silver bodies were shimmering in the sun, just below our boat. It was something!

After that, we returned to Lovina and went to a lovely café for lunch. It was storming and raining but we didn't mind, sat on a terrace under a roof, and ate and drank with a beautiful view towards the mountains and rice fields. And it was magical.

Have you ever been dolphin-watching? Where was it, and did you see the animals?
