I'm a student and I'm not currently earning my own income. This means I'm unable to spend a ton of money on valentines day gifts, but this doesn't mean I can't make cute gifts for family and friends. So here's some super cute valentines day gift ideas that are cheap and easy to make. Because you don't need to spend a lot of money to show someone that you care.
HEART SHAPED TEA BAGS
What you need:
- regular tea bags
- a needle and thread
- some card paper
- a pair of scissors
- a piece of paper
Method:
- Start by cutting the corner off your tea bag and emptying the tea leaves onto your piece of paper.
- Cut your empty tea bag into a heart shape.
- Take your needle and thread and sew the heart shaped tea bag close to the edges to seal it up.
- Do not sew it completely closed until you pour the tea leaves back into the tea bag.
- Once the tea bag is sewed shut, tie a knot in the thread so it does not come undone.
- Cut apart of your card paper into a small heart.
- Then thread the end of the remaining thread through your card paper heart and then tie a knot.
A GIFT FOR COFFEE LOVERS
What you need:
- a coffee cup
- a pen
- a pair of scissors
- some ribbon
- a piece of card paper
- some cappuccino sachets
Method:
- Cut out a tag from your card paper and punch a hole in it.
- Write a cute coffee pun on the tag such as "I like you a latte".
- Place your cappuccino sachets in your coffee cup.
- Use your ribbon to tie your tag to the handle of your coffee cup.
