Celebrating my 19th birthday together with my favorite person

Hi there, everyone, it’s me, Rhea, again. So today I wanted to share a memorable story of mine about how me and my favorite person celebrated my 19th birthday.  One Sunday afternoon, before my birthday, March 16, 2025, I was just scrolling on social media when my boyfriend texted and asked me how I should treat myself for my birthday. I replied and said I don’t know yet, and he told me that he wanted us to go have dinner at Jollibee and he would be the one paying for it. I immediately said yes since I was craving Jollibee that day. Later that night he told me that he would come over to my house and he would pick me up so that I don’t have to commute. Around 6 pm, he arrived at our house, he told my parents that he would like to take me out for dinner and will come home early as possible. My parents immediately said yes because they trust him so much and told us to get home early.  After that, we then went to a fast food restaurant and ordered some food. While we are at the counter, we decided that we will take out our food and eat it in a chill and peaceful place.  After waiting for a couple of minutes, we finally got our order. After that, we then went near the city hall since there are lots of people chilling there.  We arrived there around 8 pm, and we then found a perfect spot for us to sit. And then I began to prepare the food so that we could finally eat.   While we were eating we talked about our plans for tomorrow morning since it is finally my birthday and he told me that we will go out and have lunch at Mang Inasal. I immediately said yes because I really want to spend time together with my favorite person. After talking for almost an hour, around almost 10 pm, we decided to go home and get some rest.  When the clock struck midnight he called me through the phone and wished me a happy birthday and sang a happy birthday song to me. My heart melted, and my eyes got teary when he didn’t forget about my birthday, I am so lucky to have a man like him. Later that morning, March 17, 2025, since we already planned to have lunch at a fast food restaurant, I then quickly took a bath and prepared my things so that I could go to the church early.  I arrived at the church around 10 in the morning, I was so happy and excited since I had turned 19 that day, and I thanked God for another year of celebrating my birthday.  After that, I called my boyfriend to meet me at the fast food restaurant so that we could have lunch. I then ordered our food and waited for him to come. When he arrived there, he said that he would be the one to pick up the order at the counter.  And finally our order is finally ready; we immediately devoured the food and yapped and laughed about the stuff that we liked the most.  I will always treasure the moments that we had even though we only have simple dates, I will always cherish our beautiful memories together.
