Buying Powerbank At Sm City For Emergency

After the strong earthquake that happened in North Cebu, the power supply in our area was totally gone. There was no electricity for many days, and it was hard to charge our phones and other things. Because of that, I realized that I really needed a powerbank. Having one would help a lot, especially since we always need our phones to stay updated with news or contact family members. So, while staying in Cebu City, I decided to go to SM City to buy one.  It was just a short walk from where we were staying. The weather that day was hot but nice. The sky was clear, and there were many people walking around too.  As I walked toward the mall, I felt a little excited because it had been a while since I last visited SM City. The streets were busy, and I could hear the sound of cars and people chatting everywhere. It felt good to be out again after all the stressful days we had because of the earthquake.   When I reached SM City, I went straight inside. The air conditioning was so refreshing after walking under the sun.  The mall was full of people some were shopping, others were just walking around or eating. I didn’t want to waste any time, so I looked for the powerbank section right away.  After walking for a bit, I finally found the powerbank station. There were many different brands and colors to choose from. I checked each one carefully, looking at the price and the capacity. I wanted something affordable but still reliable. After a few minutes, I found the one that caught my attention. It was a Hoco brand powerbank. It looked simple but nice, and the size was perfect not too big and not too small.  I asked the staff about it, and they said it worked well and was one of the popular brands. The best part was the price it was less than one thousand pesos! I was really happy because I didn’t have to spend too much. I bought it right away and thanked the staff for helping me.   After buying the powerbank, I felt relieved. Finally, I had something I could use when there was no electricity. I walked around the mall for a few minutes to look at some stores. I saw many nice things clothes, shoes, and food stalls but I didn’t stay long because I didn’t plan to shop more. I was happy with my new powerbank and wanted to go back right away. On my way back, I thought about how useful it would be when we returned to Bogo City. Since there was still no electricity there, having a powerbank would really help us charge our phones anytime. I also felt thankful that we were able to stay in Cebu City for a while, where we could buy things we needed and rest safely. Even though it was just a simple purchase, it made a big difference for me and my family. Sometimes, we realize how important small things are only when we don’t have them. The powerbank was not just an item it was something that would help us stay connected, informed, and safe while waiting for things to go back to normal in our hometown. That day at SM City Cebu reminded me that life doesn’t always have to be grand to be meaningful. Even simple errands, like buying something useful, can bring comfort and peace of mind. It made me realize how lucky I was to be able to buy what I needed and help my family in a small way. When I got back to our hotel, I tried the powerbank right away, and it worked perfectly. I felt very satisfied with my purchase. Now, even if we go back to Bogo City and there’s still no electricity, I know that we will be ready. It was a simple but important experience. It showed me that in times of difficulty, small actions like preparing and finding solutions can make a big difference. Buying that powerbank may seem like a small thing, but for me, it was a big help for our safety and peace of mind.
