Hello my beautiful people of this community! I hope you're all doing well! I'm letting you know that this week I had the opportunity to go to the movies with my friend @aimara08 to enjoy a special screening of one of my favorite films from the Ghibli universe, "From Up on Poppy Hill," which is incredible!
Hola mi gente bonita de esta comunidad! Espero estén muy bien! Les cuento que esta semana tuve la oportunidad de ir con mi ami @aimara08 al cine a disfrutar de una de mis películas favoritas del universo Ghibli en una función especial, se trata de "La Colina de las Amapolas" la cual está increíble!
This beautiful film set in the 60s tells the story of Umi Matsuzaki and Shun Kazama, two high school students who join together with many of their classmates to clean and save the school clubhouse since, because it is a very old house, the president of the school board wants to demolish it for the Tokyo Olympics in 63, so they both decide to travel with the class president Shirō Mizunuma to see him to make him give up that idea. As the days go by, Umi and Shun fall in love, and although at first their love seems impossible, fate allows them to be together.
Esta hermosa película ambientada en los años 60, nos cuenta la historia de Umi Matsuzaki y Shun Kazama, dos estudiantes de preparatoria que se unen con muchos de sus compañeros para limpiar y salvar la casa club de la escuela ya que, por ser una casa muy vieja el presidente de la junta escolar la quiere derribar para las olimpiadas de Tokio del 63, por lo que ambos deciden viajar junto con el presidente de la clase Shirō Mizunuma a verlo para hacerlo desistir de esa idea. Pasando los días Umi y Shun se enamoran, y aunque al principio su amor parece imposible el destino les permite estar juntos.
Although it may not enjoy the popularity of other Ghibli films such as Totoro or Spirited Away, which fascinate me, this film was, for me, very beautiful. The story is truly enchanting, captivating me from beginning to end in a whirlwind of emotions. The characters are also very well developed, and it's impossible not to grow fond of them as the film progresses. I truly loved the work of the actors who lent their voices to each one, as they gave each one a special touch.
Aunque quizás no goza de la popularidad de otras películas de Ghibli como por ejemplo Totoro o Chihiro las cuales me fascinan, esta película para mí fue muy hermosa. La historia es realmente encantadora la cual me atrapó de inicio a fin en un torbellino de emociones, también los personajes están muy bien desarrollados y es imposible no tomarles cariño a medida que avanza la película, realmente me encantó el trabajo de los actores que prestaron su voz a cada uno ya que les dieron un toque especial a cada uno.
The production is also something truly incredible, it's directed by Gorō Miyazaki and his father Hayao Miyazaki participated in writing the script so it's impossible to be disappointed, and the quality of the animation is on another level, I loved every detail and the color palette used works perfectly, in my opinion this film is a work of art no matter how you look at it, and it's no wonder because it's what Studio Ghibli has accustomed us to.
La producción también es algo realmente increíble, está dirigida por Gorō Miyazaki y su padre Hayao Miyazaki participó en la escritura del guión por lo que es imposible decepcionarse, y además la calidad de la animación es otro nivel, me encantó cada detalle y la paleta de colores utilizada funciona a la perfección, en mi opinión esta película es una obra de arte por dónde se mire, y no es para menos porque es a lo que nos tiene acostumbrados el estudio Ghibli.
I also thought the soundtrack was very good; the songs that accompany the film and the score give it a great touch of nostalgia, making it a great addition to the film. Although it's a film that's been out for a while (2011), I loved seeing it again in the theater as an adult, as it's always been one of my favorite Studio Ghibli films. If you haven't seen it yet, I definitely recommend it (my friend @aimara08 la amó jajaja).
El soundtrack también me pareció muy bueno, las canciones que acompañan la película y el score le da un gran toque de nostalgia por lo que también es una gran adición a la película. Aunque es una película que tiene tiempo estrenada (2011) me encantó volver a verla en el cine siendo una adulta ya que siempre ha sido una de mis películas favoritas del estudio Ghibli, y si no la conocen se las recomiendo sin duda (mi ami @aimara08 la amó jajaja).
