Hello, my dear cinephile friends! I hope you're all well! Today I'm here to share with you a film I recently had the opportunity to see in theaters. It's the live-action Lilo Stitch, released through Walt Disney Pictures and starring Maia Kehaloa and Chris Sanders in the lead roles.

Hoy estoy por aquí para compartir con ustedes una película que tuve la oportunidad de disfrutar hace poco en el cine, se trata del live action de Lilo Stitch, la cual fue lanzada a través de Walt Disney Pictures y está protagonizada por Maia Kehaloa y Chris Sanders en los papeles principales.
Plot / Trama
Lilo Pelekai is a lonely girl who finds it difficult to make friends, and lives with her sister Nani since her parents passed away. One night, Lilo asks a shooting star to make a lasting friend and what seemed to be a star was actually Stitch's spaceship, which Lilo later adopts in a shelter believing it to be a dog. Lilo and Stitch will live many adventures together while Lilo tries to behave well and Stitch flees from Jumba and Peakley, who are other disguised aliens who were sent to capture him for being a "failed experiment." It is a remake of the 2002 animated film that teaches us the value of true friendship, and family love which is capable of overcoming any difficult situation.
Lilo Pelekai es una niña solitaria y a la que le cuesta hacer amigos, y vive con su hermana Nani ya que sus padres fallecieron. Una noche, Lilo le pide a una estrella fugaz hacer un amigo duradero y lo que parecía ser una estrella en realidad era la nave espacial de Stitch, el cual luego Lilo adopta en un refugio creyendo que es un perro. Lilo y Stitch vivirán muchas aventuras juntos mientras, Lilo intenta portarse bien y Stitch huye de Jumba y Peakley, los cuales son otros extraterrestres disfrazados que fueron enviados a capturarlo por ser un "experimento fallido". Es un remake de la película animada del año 2002 que nos enseña el valor de la amistad verdadera, y el amor familiar el cual es capaz de superar toda situación difícil.
My Opinion / Mi Opinión
I've been waiting for this film with great anticipation and anticipation, as the animated version is one of my childhood favorites. I really liked the actors' performances, especially Maia Kehaloa and Sydney Agudong, who play the roles of Lilo and Nani. I also loved that they included voice actors from the animated version, such as Tia Carrere and Jason Scott Lee, who played Nani and David in the animated version.
Estuve esperando esta película con muchas ansias y expectativas ya que la versión animada es de mis favoritas de mi infancia. Me gustó mucho el desempeño de los actores, especialmente de Maia Kehaloa y Sydney Agudong quienes desempeñan los roles de Lilo y Nani, también me encantó que incluyeran a actores de doblaje de la versión animada como Tia Carrere y Jason Scott Lee, los cuales interpretaron a Nani y a David en dicha versión.
I also loved the story, as it's quite similar to the animated version, which made me feel very nostalgic, the changes and additions didn't bother me at all, as they weren't drastic; in my opinion, they turned out well. I also thought the photography was quite good overall; it has a wide color palette that worked perfectly, and I thought the locations used for filming were beautiful.
La historia también me encantó, ya que es bastante similar a la de la versión animada, por lo que me dió mucha nostalgia, también los cambios realizados y adiciones no me molestaron para nada ya que no fueron drásticos, en mi opinión tuvieron buenos resultados. También la fotografía en general me pareció bastante buena, tiene una amplia paleta de colores que funcionó a la perfección y los sitios que usaron para grabar me parecieron hermosos.
The soundtrack also seems incredible to me, I loved that they added new songs, in addition to almost all of the ones from the first version, among them my favorites, "Burning Love" (sung by Bruno Mars' nephews this time) and Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride (sung by Iam Tongi accompanied by a children's choir this time) and I thought both were very good although, I would have liked to have had a new version of Can't Help Falling In Love too, because I still like listening to the A*Teens version from the animated movie.
El soundtrack también me parece increíble, me encantó que hayan agregado nuevas canciones, además de casi todas las de la primera versión entre ellas mis favoritas, "Burning Love" (cantada por los sobrinos de Bruno Mars esta vez) y Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride (cantada por Iam Tongi acompañado de un coro de niños esta vez) y ambas me parecieron muy buenas aunque, me hubiese gustado haber tenido una nueva versión de Can't Help Falling In Love también, ya que todavía me gusta escuchar la versión de A*Teens de la película animada.
I haven't been entirely satisfied with the Disney remakes lately, but I'd say this one hit the mark, as it was like a nostalgia hit and, in my case, made my inner child happy. I had the chance to see it in the theater with a very special friend, and I truly enjoyed it. I'd like to recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet. I hope you like it as much as me!
Últimamente no he estado del todo satisfecha por los remakes que Disney ha estado haciendo, pero diría que este si dió en el blanco, ya que fue como un golpe de nostalgia y en mi caso, hizo feliz a mi niña interior. Tuve la oportunidad de verla en el cine en compañía de un amigo muy especial y de verdad que la disfruté bastante, me gustaría recomendarla a todos los que no la hayan visto todavía, espero que les guste tanto como a mí.
