Hello, my dear reader friends! I hope you're all well! A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to travel to Spain for the first time, and there I had the chance to visit the beautiful bookstore "La Casa del Libro," one of my favorite bookstores which it's incredible, and for me, it was heaven! Not only did I see spectacular books like the ones you'll see below, but I also got some incredible ones!
Hola, mis queridos amigos lectores! Espero estén bien! Hace algunas semanas tuve la oportunidad de viajar por primera vez a España, y allá tuve la oportunidad de conocer la hermosa librería "La Casa del Libro" una de mis librerías favoritas, la cual está de ensueño y para mi fue el paraíso! No solamente vi libros espectaculares como los que verán a continuación, también conseguí algunos increíbles!
The store I had the opportunity to visit is located in Vigo, and it's truly spectacular (it reminds me of an old-fashioned bookstore) and is quite spacious, with a large number of display cases full of books that are difficult to find at a good price here in Venezuela.
La sede que tuve la oportunidad de visitar se encuentra en Vigo, y es realmente espectacular (me recuerda a una librería antigua) y es bastante amplia, con una gran cantidad de vitrinas llenas de libros que aquí en Venezuela, son difícil de conseguir a buen precio.
What I like about this bookstore is that all the books are sorted by genre, so it was easy for me to not only enjoy the wide variety of books I like, but also to find the ones I was looking for. I was really drawn to the libraries of books in other languages, and I could see several by authors I liked, such as Ernest Hemingway, Jojo Moyes, and Christian Signol, among others... obviously I felt like grabbing several, however, for obvious reasons I couldn't, hahaha 😅 Other libraries that caught my attention were those of the suspense, romance, best sellers (where I also found several I liked), and the most read... there was so much variety that I felt like I was in literary paradise, hahaha
Lo que me gusta de esta librería es que todos los libros están ordenados por géneros, entonces me fue fácil no solo deleitarme con la gran variedad de libros que me gustan, sino también encontrar los que buscaba. Me llamaron mucho la atención las bibliotecas de libros de otros idiomas, los cuales pude ver varios de autores de mi agrado como Ernest Hemingway, Jojo Moyes y Christian Signol, entre otros...obvio me dieron ganas de agarrar varios sin embargo, por obvias razones no pude jajaja 😅 Otras bibliotecas que llamaron mi atención, fueron los del género suspenso, romántico, best sellers (dónde encontré varios de mi agrado también) y los más leídos...había tanta variedad que me sentí en el paraíso literario jajaja
Obviously I went crazy for some hardcover editions of books that I really like and, although I couldn't take them at that moment but a friend will bring them to me next week, I couldn't resist buying them because, in addition to the beautiful covers, they also have tinted edges so they are collector's editions, and because they are not that expensive, I was able to buy It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, Etéreo and Sempiterno by Joana Marcús. Since they didn't fit in my suitcase, my friend will do me the favor of bringing them to me and I can't wait to have them hahaha.
Obviamente me volví loca por algunas ediciones tapa dura de libros que me gustan mucho y, aunque no pude llevarlos en ese momento pero que un amigo me traerá la semana que viene, no pude resistirme a comprar porque, además de las hermosas tapas también tienen cantos tintados por lo que son ediciones de colección, y como no son tan caros pude comprar de Romper el Círculo de Colleen Hoover, Los Juegos del Hambre de Suzanne Collins y Etéreo y Sempiterno de Joana Marcús. Como no cupieron en mi maleta, mi amigo me hará el favor de traermelos y estoy ansiosa por tenerlos jajaja.
My favorite section was the comics and manga section, because I've recently become a fan and I loved finding so much variety in one place. I loved seeing comics from my favorite series like Solo Leveling, One Piece, My Hero Academia, and Demon Slayer. I also loved getting a Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind manga by Hayao Miyazaki, but I didn't get it because the first edition wasn't available. I loved getting the second novel of Solo Leveling, and also some Demon Slayer and Kimetsu Academy comics, which I obviously bought. I was sad that I couldn't get the first two My Hero Academia comics, which I also wanted to get.
Mi sección favorita fue la de cómic y manga, porque últimamente me he vuelto fan y me encantó encontrar tanta variedad en un sólo lugar. Amé ver comics de mis series favoritas como Solo Leveling, One Piece, My Hero Academia y Guardianes de la Noche. También me encantó conseguir un manga de Nausicaä del Valle del Viento de Hayao Miyazaki pero, no lo llevé porque no estaba disponible la primera edición. Me encantó conseguir el novela 2 de Solo Leveling, y también algunos de Guardianes de la Noche y Academia Kimetsu que obviamente compré, me entristeció no haber podido conseguir los 2 primeros de My Hero Academia, los cuales también quise llevar.
Something I also loved about the bookstore was the atmosphere and decoration. From the moment I walked in, I felt at home, and the staff was really friendly. I saw so many books that I even had the opportunity to select other titles to read next. I really didn't want to leave, so I spent over an hour browsing, haha. Other books that caught my attention were those by George R.R. Martin and Stephen King.
Algo que también me encantó de la librería, es el ambiente y la decoración. Desde que entré me sentí como en casa y el personal es realmente amable. Vi tantos libros que también tuve la oportunidad de seleccionar otros títulos para leerlos próximamente. Realmente no me quería ir de allí, así que pasé mas de una hora explorando jajaja. Otros libros que llamaron mi atención, fueron los que vi de George R. R. Martin y Stephen King.
As you know, for us book lovers, visiting bookstores like this one is a very rewarding experience, and for me, it was a thrilling one. Below, I'm sharing the books I bought and brought back to Venezuela. Another thing I loved was that they gave me two bookmarks with my purchase! 🥰
