Hello my dear readers, I hope you're all doing well! As you know, this has been a year in which I've had the opportunity to read (and reread) some great books, so I'd like to share some of my favorites with you! I hope you like them.

Once Upon a Broken Heart - Stephanie Garber
Written by the author of the "Caraval" trilogy, it takes us to a fantasy world where Evangeline turns to the Prince of Hearts to stop the wedding of the boy she loves and her sister, unaware that the Prince has other plans for her. I read this book on the recommendation of my friend @aimara08 and I really enjoyed it. It's part of a trilogy that becomes more interesting as you progress, and its characters are quite well-developed. In my case, it was impossible not to identify with the protagonist Evangeline. It's an easy-to-read and entertaining book to pass the time. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I definitely recommend it.
Escrito por la autora de la trilogía "Caraval" nos traslada a un mundo de fantasía en el que Evangeline recurre al Príncipe de Corazones para detener la boda del chico que ama y su hermana, sin saber que el Príncipe tiene otros planes para ella. Este libro lo leí por recomendación de mi amiga @aimara08 y vaya que me ha gustado. Es parte de una trilogía la cual se va haciendo más interesante a medida que avanzas y sus personajes están bastante bien desarrollados, y en mi caso me fue imposible no sentirme identificada con la protagonista Evangeline, es un libro fácil de leer y entretenido para pasar el tiempo. Lo disfruté al máximo y lo recomiendo sin duda.
Sunrise on the Reaping - Suzanne Collins
I'm a huge Hunger Games fan, so when author Suzanne Collins released this book, I couldn't wait to read it. This is a prequel to the original trilogy in which we learn the story of Haymitch Abernathy during his time in the games. This book kept me hooked from the beginning. Haymitch had always been one of my favorite characters, and learning his story was an emotional rollercoaster for me, and I was able to understand why Haymitch is the way he is. I'm glad Suzanne wanted to expand the universe of the games, and I can't recommend it enough, as it was one of the best I've read this year.
Soy muy fan de los Juegos del Hambre así que cuando su autora Suzanne Collins lanzó este libro, no pude esperar para leerlo. Esta es una precuela de la trilogía original en el que conoceremos la historia de Haymitch Abernathy cuando participó en los juegos. Este libro me mantuvo enganchada desde el principio, Haymitch siempre había sido de mis personajes favoritos y conocer su historia fue una montaña rusa de emociones para mí, y pude entender porque Haymitch es como es. Estoy contenta que Suzanne haya querido ampliar el universo de los juegos, y no puedo dejar de recomendar ya que ha sido uno de los mejores que leí este año.
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo - Taylor Jenkins Reid
I learned about this book through a friend and truly loved it. I've read it several times and would say it's one of my favorites this year. Taylor introduces us to Evelyn Hugo, a Hollywood actress who, at an advanced age, decides to hire a journalist to write and publish her autobiography. It's a book with a very interesting and captivating story full of great emotional weight that hooks you from the beginning. The book is unpredictable, so you always feel the need to read until the end. I highly recommend it.
Conocí este libro gracias a una amiga y de verdad me encantó, lo he leído varias veces y diría que es de mis favoritos de este año. Taylor nos presenta a Evelyn Hugo, una actriz de Hollywood que a avanzada edad decide contratar a una periodista para que sea la encargada de escribir y publicar su autobiografía. Es un libro con una historia muy interesante y cautivadora llena de una gran carga emocional que engancha desde el principio, el libro es impredecible por lo que siempre sientes la necesidad de leer hasta el final. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
This year I've had the opportunity to read many stories, and while some have disappointed me, I've loved many others, so my list wouldn't end here, haha. But these are the books I've loved the most and hold a special place in my heart. It's been a pleasure to share them with you!
