Hola, amigos de internet! Espero estén muy bien! Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un recuerdo muy especial, ya que el año pasado tuve la oportunidad de visitar una exposición muy interesante acerca de Mafalda, uno de mis personajes favoritos de mi infancia, tuve la compañía de mi mamá y la pasamos genial!
Hello, internet friends! I hope you're all doing well! Today I want to share a very special memory with you. Last year, I had the opportunity to visit a very interesting exhibit about Mafalda, one of my favorite childhood characters. I was accompanied by my mom, and we had a great time!
La expo de llamaba "El Mundo Según Mafalda" y tuvo lugar en la Galería de Arte Nacional, y para entrar fue toda una odisea jajaja pero después de casi una hora de cola pudimos entrar. Constaba de 13 módulos que mostraban muchas cosas acerca de Mafalda, para entrar nos agrupaban en grupos y a medida que cada uno avanzaba, enseguida pasaba otro grupo. Mientras esperabamos, podíamos tomarnos fotos con la decoración de afuera.
The exhibition was named "The World According to Mafalda" and took place at the National Art Gallery, and getting in was a real ordeal, haha, but after waiting in line for almost an hour, we were finally able to get in. It consisted of 13 booths displaying many things about Mafalda. To get in, we were grouped into groups, and as each of us walked through, another group would follow. While we waited, we could take photos in front of the decorations outside.
La primera exhibición muestra las tiras cómicas de Mafalda, los cuales recuerdo que me regalaron varios cuando era niña y me dió un poco de nostalgia, porque enserio me encantaban! Además de eso también habían varias tiras cómicas en las paredes, y me gustó mucho una en especial, que tenía un dibujo de Quino, el creador de Mafalda.
The first exhibit shows the Mafalda comic strips. I remember being given several as a child, and it made me a little nostalgic because I really loved them! There were also several comic strips on the walls, and I really liked one in particular, which had a drawing by Quino, the creator of Mafalda.
Entre otras decoraciones que habían en las paredes, habían muchas tiras graciosas que mostraban a todos los personajes y realmente me encantaron, mis personajes favoritos además de Mafalda siempre han sido Susanita, Manolito y Felipe por lo que me encantó tomarme varias fotos con ellos! Fue realmente divertido!
Among other decorations on the walls, there were lots of funny strips showing all the characters, and I really loved them. My favorite characters besides Mafalda have always been Susanita, Manolito, and Felipe, so I loved taking lots of pictures with them! It was really fun!
Enserio amé muchas de las tiras cómicas que adornaban las paredes, lo que siempre me ha gustado de las tiras cómicas de Mafalda es esa mezcla de ironía y humor para tratar temas delicados para muchos, y su manera de reflexionar y de ver las cosas muy distintas a los adultos. Muchos mensajes me gustaron, y también otras decoraciones donde me pude fotografiar, y diría que lo que más me llamó la atención es un Volkswagen blanco, con Mafalda y su familia dentro.
I really loved many of the comics that adorned the walls. What I've always liked about Mafalda's comics is their mix of irony and humor, addressing sensitive topics for many, and their way of reflecting and seeing things very differently from adults. I liked many of the messages, as well as other decorations where I could take pictures. I'd say the one that caught my eye the most was a white Volkswagen with Mafalda and her family inside.
Además de tantos espacio decorados con las tiras cómicas, también habían espacios de entretenimiento como unas mesas en las que tu mismo podías armar tus propias tiras ya que habían bastantes sellos con los personajes, también una exhibición en la que había un televisor en el que podías ver la serie animada, y una recreación de la casa de Mafalda la cual también me encantó...el único detalle es que el tiempo para ver cada exposición es limitado por lo que casi no había chance para tomar fotos, sin embargo logré tomar fotos de todo lo que más me gustó, como por ejemplo la exhibición con la que más me identifiqué, en la que se muestra a Mafalda triste porque tiene que comer sopa, ya que si algo que tengo en común con ella, es que a mi tampoco me gusta la sopa jajaja 😂🤣😂 por lo que obviamente no pude dejar pasar la oportunidad de tomar fotos.
In addition to so many spaces decorated with comic strips, there were also entertainment areas such as tables where you could put together your own strips because there were quite a few stamps with the characters, also an exhibition where there was a television where you could watch the animated series, and a recreation of Mafalda's house which I also loved...the only detail is that the time to see each exhibition is limited so there was almost no chance to take pictures, however I managed to take pictures of everything I liked the most, such as the exhibition with which I identified the most, in which Mafalda is shown sad because she has to eat soup, because if there's something I have in common with her, it's that I don't like soup either hahaha 😂🤣😂 so obviously I could not pass up the opportunity to take pictures.
Para finalizar, diría que esta fue una gran experiencia la cual mi mamá y yo disfrutamos al máximo, desde el principio hasta el final fue emocionante y entretenida, y realmente valió la pena ir. Este día para mi fue emocionante y ha sido un placer compartirlo con ustedes en este jueves de #TBT! Por último les comparto fotos de la última exhibición, con la que muchos nos pudimos sentir identificados en algún momento jaja.
Finally, I'd like to say that this was a great experience that my mom and I thoroughly enjoyed. From start to finish, it was exciting and entertaining, and it was truly worth it. This day was thrilling for me, and it's been a pleasure to share it with you on this #TBT Thursday! Finally, I'm sharing photos from the last exhibition, which many of us can relate to at some point, haha.
