Getting a cat was my dream, but it was Soo unexpected to get it, I mean I never intended it to happen really, because as I said earlier it was my dream.
After the sweet surprise that I was getting a cat, I realized that they are extremely fun to be around.
Cats are social animals and what better place to post about social animals than in the social community 😌
Cats are really interesting animals and are intriguing to observe, I decided I was going to take the time to interrogate all the behaviors of a cat and I'll love to share it.
When the cat was brought to our house, I was super excited, I expected it to be used to me already!
But the cat was always hiding and nowhere to be seen all that we could hear if it was just it's soft meows or cries it made.
It was brought when it was still at a very tender age, that Is taken away from the mother quite early, so being in a new environment, for the next four days the cat didn't stop going into hiding and meowing...
When the cat finally came out, we gave it liquid milk but it still refused to lick, because it has never seen food served in that plate before, so it didn't take it.
We decided we would look for a particular name to call it.
Actually her name is Fiona, but I don't usually call her by her name, I'll tell you what I call her by later.

Soon she started getting used to us, that time it was staying with us inside the house, it began eating and I realized it ate everything humans eat, but it's best meals were liquid foods.
Getting used to us, it would casually rub itself on our legs when it is walking past us, that is to signify territory, meaning that we are the cats territory.
But we missed a very important thing, we needed to train it to go outside whenever it wants to excrete, but we didn't, we totally ignored it and it started causing a nuisance because it was messing up the house.
The one time we took it outside, it literally ran away, and we had to look for it, I really thought it had disappeared for good, but we saw it in a building near the house, we decided we'll let it stay inside more.
They love to be petted so much, and when it is pleased it makes a very cute purring sound, when petting her, she closes her eyes, and when she wants you to pet her she stares at you and cries.

They eat reptiles and rodents, rats and lizards even walk geckos are eaten by them, usually she'll climb to the roof of the building hunting for them, she also kills a large variety of insects such that your house is free from the creepers and insects.
It became used to us, it would then climb the dining table and try to eat from our plate, but every single time I would hit her and she would run down, I did it a number of times until all she would do was crawl under our legs and wait for us to drop pieces of food for her, if we didn't she would cry continuously.
We let her sleep in our bed too, she became very uses to us that she knew us anywhere, we decided we should let her outside.
She didn't run away anymore, then we took her bed and everything outside, in the morning whenever we open the door, she begins crying, meaning she's hungry, when I want to give her food she knows exactly where her plate is.
Wherever she is once I call her ***"SWEETHEART"*** she answers me or she just meows.
They can be very naughty too, most times I call and she completely ignores me, it makes me laugh a lot, I love watching her play, usually by trying to catch her tail or just jumping around.
She keeps herself clean and there by doesn't need to be cleaned unless it's your personal choice.
These are just some behavioral patterns of my cat....
Hope it moved you to want to get yours
