Everyone knew him as the grumpy loner who never smiled.
He was popularly known as Mr Tyler... nobody knew why, all they knew was that he was someone no one should go close to, and anybody who tried to start a conversation with him ended up leaving feeling awkward.
Well he doesn't look as bad as he sounds... he was eye candy.
Tall 29-year-old man with cute eyes... people around his locality confirmed who he was.
He looked super lonely and didn't have anyone or family members close to him.
On a Sunny morning, neighbors were passing by and saw a notice on his Gate...
***"House help needed!"*** That was what the notice said.
Months passed... no one applied, soon the poster wore off and was blown away by the wind.
***"ON A FATEFUL DAY"***
Sienna was walking around aimlessly after getting evicted from her house... she also just received a call that she had been fired from her job as a receptionist... she walked around aimlessly while shedding tears... why did it seem like every bad thing on earth happened to her?
She carried her luggage and went to a nearby uncompleted home... and sat down... she didn't know what was next or what was going to happen now. She would probably go back to her mom in the village, which is very far, and she also didn't want to be a burden to her mom.
As she sat there aimlessly, a piece of paper flew gee direction and rested beside her... She casually glanced at it and was about to look away when something caught her eye...
***"House help needed!"*** She read the phone no. Part has torn off, but the address was still very visible... she knew the place... No. 20 Crescent Road.
She used her last card to pay transport fare to the place and kept praying to God that this opportunity would work out.
A few minutes later, she was faced with a Big black fate in front of her... she was feeling very nervous and indecisive... she wondered whether to go ahead or to blame herself for being silly.
People around were already giving her suspicious stress as to what a beautiful young lady was doing in front of a gate with her luggage...
When the states were becoming more uncomfortable, she braved up and knocked on the gate.
She knocked three times without an answer and was already losing hope when she heard some scuffling noises inside... soon the small gate was opened and she saw a beautiful creature in front of her... Why!! He looked like he was crafted when God was in his best of moods...
Mr Tyler, on the other hand, stared at the disheveled girl in front of him... but she looked innocent and cute... He looked at her... who is this girl that came to knock on his gate, which no one had done in almost a year... Hasn't she heard of him?...
***"How many I help you?"*** He asked
***"Hello sir... I'm here for a job opening,"*** Sienna replied
***"What opening... you're mistaken... please take your leave.. I don't think you should be randomly knocking on people's gates like that,"*** Tyler replied
Sienna was taken aback by his rudeness.... how could a cute person be that rude?
He was about to close the gate when Sienna stopped him from doing that by putting her hand on the gate.
***"Excuse me... You don't just say that... I saw a poster for a house help and I came here.... Isn't this it!"*** She said and showed him the paper..
Tyler gave a mocking stare
***"That poster is almost a year old,"*** He said
Sienna mouthed a small *"Oh"* and wanted to leave when she heard him say something...
***"Come in"*** She heard and she was delighted.... she had hidden her luggage outside so as not to scare him that she didn't have a home.
She entered the house and was mesmerized by the beauty... from outside it looked like a regular home.... one might even mistake it to be a lowly house.
She moved in and was lost in the beauty... she was walking aimlessly and didn't know when Tyler stopped... she bumped into him.
She quickly apologized and stood straight... Tyler formed a small grin....
They were in his living room... he sat down and started asking her questions... she explained that she was just fired from her last job as a receptionist because she turned down the boss's advances towards her.
***"Oh... do you have a place to stay?"*** He asked, she smiled nervously... ***"Well, I kind of got evicted from my place today too...."***
He smirked... ***"You've got some nerve, lady... what makes you think I'll allow a homeless girl to work for me or someone whose boss rejected.... must I employ you?"*** He suddenly asked
***"Well... sir, it's obvious... You need help and I'm gonna do just that,"*** she replied confidently... she was regaining her poise when her stomach grumbled... she couldn't hide the embarrassment...
***"You start now! I'm hungry,"*** Tyler said and went into his room...
Sienna was overjoyed. She quickly brought her luggage inside and prepared a delicious meal.
Her presence turned out to be a blessing for Tyler... he never believed this girl could make him loosen up... he became freer and smiled often, especially at her... he also became nicer in general.
She became more than just his home help.
One day, they were casually discussing when Tyler decided to open up
***"I got married at 25... it was a marriage to secure company relationships... but she was my childhood friend, I loved her so much... we had a beautiful daughter Kyra... She was just 2 and I loved them both so much... If only I were on that plane with them... I could have saved them from the crash... that day when I heard the news... I sat under the rain and cried my life out..... I miss them!"*** he finally confessed
Sienna hugged him and patted his head as he let it all out.
A year later..... Tyler was watching one of the most amazing scenes he could ever think of.... Sienna coming towards him in a white flowing gown.... He couldn't help but be thankful for that fateful day... when that poster flew towards her.....
