In the frozen wilds, I helped a stranger search for his missing friend. What began with bloodstains ended in tragedy when a bear, the true killer, returned. Though I killed it, the beast fatally wounded the grieving man. Capturing both predator and victim in one frame, I carried away only the bear's pelt and a haunting memory.

I witnessed this story long ago and I've been keeping these captures since then. I guess I shouldn't hold this story to myself anymore. I was wandering around the frost side of the map, and this stranger asked my help to look for his friend who was missing from the morning.

Arthur told him he'd be called if the friend is noticed around. I started riding towards the spot that the map was suggesting me and I noticed some deer from a far.

I rode there, the deer escaped being spooked. There I noticed some bloodstains around but there was no body.

I went back to the stranger but as I didn't find the friend of any body, Arthur didn't tell the stranger anything.

I went back to the spot and this time I found the dead body of the friend I was looking for. This time, there was no bloodstains around.

Now that I found the body, I went back to the stranger again and this time Arthur told him what he found so the stranger followed him.

Seeing the dead body of the beloved friend, the stranger started crying. It seemed like the dead man was attacked by a big beast or something.

When the stranger was crying over his friends dead body, suddenly a bear reached them and this was the one who killed the fried. The bear chased the stranger and I shot down the beer.

But the bear attacked the stranger before it went down and it was bad so the stranger fell on the ground and died on my watch. I tried to capture the dead bodies of both killer and the victim in the same frame.

Then I skinned the bear to collect its carcasses and its valuable skin that I stowed on my horse and later sold somewhere.

It was another day, after getting back to the summer part of the map. I was riding to somewhere and suddenly I noticed a man stowing a dead animal on his horseback and then he left riding his horse.
As I was going somewhere, I didn't follow this NPC but I wish to follow such an NPC someday to see where they go and what they do later.

Here I'm finishing the post for today and I'll come talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.
