I set out to help the people of Butcher Creek, tasked with destroying cursed charms in the forest. Along the way, I faced relentless bounty hunters, battling both with guns and machete. After clearing all the charms, the truth was revealed, the fake astrologer had planted them to exploit the villagers, leading Arthur toward the mine for answers.

The last time I tried a mission was helping the peoples of Butcher Creek from getting bitten by some infected dogs that they knew as demon. A man told them there are charms throughout the forest that's been protecting the curses over them and Arthur decided to destroy those charms.

I went into the forest at midnight and I started shooting and destroying the charms tied to the trees one by one. There were total 13 of them but after destroying a few, I was not seeing any more.

It was morning already so I thought I had to come back in the dark. I set up my tent by the forest and slept till the next night.

There were some bounty hunters nearby when I was awake and I decided to shoot them down first so I opened fire, they came to me and I started shooting them down one by one, along with their dogs.

That was the last one whom I tried to stab with the machete but he attacked first and the machete fell down. After beating him up in bare hands, I picked up the machete and slayed him down.

I went back to the forest and started destroying the remaining charms. But I was not finding much around so I was looking around.

Suddenly I noticed another group of bounty hunters nearby and they found me as I was shooting the charms. I shot all of them down and then I noticed the sun was coming up again so I decided to go for another sleep but I was not able to as the game says I just did a crime.
Man, the bounty hunters were searching for me to take me down, I just saved myself, and that's crime?

There was another group of bounty hunters at a far and this time I decided to take my fight to them so I rode to them and I started shooting them when they were not ready for it.

My horse got injured so I was already on foot. When I knew there was only one of them left, I ran to him carrying the machete and slayed him down mercilessly.

I went back to the forest and destroyed the remaining charms when it was daytime. I guess I was wrong about destroying them in the dark. Then I went to Obediah to update the villagers.

The fake astrologer was still there who planted the charms himself to make fool out of the villagers and get from them. When Arthur said he destroyed the charms, the man tried to scare the villagers with different words so Arthur scared him with his fist.

The man escaped and Obediah then said there was a mine over the hill where the fake astrologer forbade them to go. Arthur decided to get to the mine next.
