After uncovering Shaman's lies in Butcher Creek, Arthur tried to reveal the poisoned water and free the villagers from his trickery. But blind faith turned against him, and what began as exposing a fraud ended in a brutal fight, leaving the cursed village behind in ashes.

After coming out of the mine, I was riding towards Butcher Creek to tell Obediah how Shaman was fooling them.
And when I was riding, I noticed the boys who were by the waterfalls, were running as well as if they're scared of Arthur yelling at them.

I rode to Butcher Creek and then I was walking to the villagers to let them know what I found in the dig site but there I saw Shaman was having a meeting with the villagers.

It looked like Shaman was still misguiding them. He was promising the villagers he'd lead them out of the darkness and then he gave them a paper to sign, saying its a powerful magic.

Sad for him, Obediah could read and when he was reading the contract paper, Shaman got surprised to see Obediah could read, thus stopped him.
Arthur joined the crowd and said the villagers has been poisoned.

Obediah said they were warned not to heed what Arthur say so Arthur tried to make Shaman say it. Shaman said that's nothing so Arthur made him drink that sample Arthur collected from the mine.

After Shaman swallowed it, he said he was poisoned now. Then he spilled out the truth that he was meant to get the villagers go so he poisoned the river water the villagers were drinking to make them believe the place was cursed.

After hearing this, Obediah came to this conclusion that its clear as day that they're cursed. Arthur was like, "what the hell?"
Arthur understood he can't make these peoples understand who doesn't want to understand. Obediah asked him to leave them alone and offered the money on the table. There was $50 that I collected.

Before leaving the village, I decided to take Shaman down who was just running around saying he's poisoned. Then I found him and I knocked him down.

There were villagers around who came to fight me after I took down the man who was killing them all this time, can you believe it? I started fighting the villagers as well.

It was fist fight at first but when they understood they were not gonna win against me in this way, they started shooting from all around and I did as well.

After drinking a health tonic, I started shooting them and I shot every last one of them. I let the curse die with the m***f*** villagers and then I left the village in peace.
