Hamish invited Arthur for a wolf hunt that turned into an ambush. After tracking a large she-wolf through the forest, Arthur realized it was a trap set by a whole pack. Fighting off multiple wolves, including a rare male, we survived the attack. Hamish rewarded Arthur with a rare pelt before staying behind to collect the rest.

As Hamish asked me to meet him for a hunt someday, I went for it seeing the mission appearing on the map. He offered Arthur a coffee and he talked about a she wolf in the meantime who has been giving him trouble for some days.

After a storm ended, Hamish offered Arthur another cup of coffee and that's when he noticed the she wolf near his cabin as if it looked like the wolf was calling him.

We left the cabin and I started following Hamish to hunt the wolf. After riding for a while, we saw the wolf up on a hill. It looked like the wolf was showing us way to her. It seemed like she was trying to communicate.

We kept moving and then we went to the hill where we saw the wolf last time. There we saw some bones and a fresh kill, which was probably the wolf's dinner.

We found her dinner but she was nowhere. Suddenly she came in our focus again and this time we started tracking her on foot as per Hamish suggested. We were going deep in the forest.

The more we were walking, the deeper in the forest we were getting into it. I was somehow smelling trap ahead so I put my rifle out and became ready for anything.

We found the wolf after a while and it looked like she was eating something there. She looked a lot bigger from close. I shot her from the behind as I couldn't try a headshot.

The wolf didn't die, she ran to me and I tried a headshot right when she came close to me. Then we understood she was not alone there. There came another wolf behind me and I shot it.

We understood it was an ambush. The she wolf was trying to attract Hamish alone and then the pack would tear him apart. Hamish was in luck that I was with him.

When I was shooting a wolf, another one came out and attacked me from the behind. It was biting on my rifle so I stop shooting, so I shot this wolf first and thought it was done.

When I thought we were done with the wolves, there came a rare bred male and ignoring Hamish, it attacked Arthur directly. Arthur fell below the beast when Hamish fell on the other side.

After stopping him from biting my neck, I attacked him with a knife and when I broke free, I shot the wolf using my handgun.

When we were sure of clearing out the whole pack, Hamish started cutting through the wolves and gave Arthur a pet of the rare bred. Then Arthur left Hamish alone there as the man wanted to wait and collect all the pelts.
