Welcome, Hivers, to this new post. Today I am sharing with you my review of Moana 2, a film that I consider to be an excellent sequel. Like the first film, it leaves us with an important lesson that has a profound impact on us. In my previous post, I mentioned that I would try to bring you a more entertaining post, and although it contains some profound reflections, it is also a recommendation for you to watch it yourselves so that we can share our views.
Bienvenidos Hivers a este nuevo post, el día de hoy comparto con ustedes mi reseña de Moana 2, una película que para mí es una excelente secuela. Así como también, nos deja una importante lección que al igual que la primera, nos deja impactados. Ya en el post anterior les había comentado que iba a procurar traer un post más divertido, y aunque tiene una gran reflexión, es también una recomendación para que vean más que yo, y podamos compartir las visiones de cada uno.
Moana has accepted her role as the leader of her island's navigators, while seeking to connect with the other villages scattered across the ocean. This time, she has to find a crew prepared for the dangers she may encounter, and ends up with a girl ready to build, an old man who hates sailing, and a boy who is excited to meet his greatest hero: Maui.
Moana ya aceptó ser la líder navegante de su isla, mientras busca conectar con el resto de los pueblos que se encuentran dispersos en el océano. En esta oportunidad, tiene que encontrar una tripulación, preparada para los peligros que pueda conseguir, y termina con una chica lista para construir, un señor mayor que odia navegar y un muchacho que está emocionado de conocer a su más grande héroe: Maui.
Maui, on the other hand, is in danger and has to find a way to warn Moana of what lies ahead. At the same time, there are some gods who will stand in their way. Will they survive and find the island that will connect everyone, or will they succumb to the dangers?
Maui, por otro lado, se encuentra en peligro, y tiene que buscar la forma de advertir a Moana de lo que la acecha. A su vez, existen algunos dioses que se le atravesarán en el camino. ¿Podrán sobrevivir y encontrar la isla que conectará a todos, o sucumbirán ante los peligros?
Honestly, it's a story that hooked me, and just like the first one, the soundtrack will make you fall in love. As will the story, which makes us realize that not everything is what it seems, and that certain things have to happen for us to learn. It's a story that does justice to its predecessor and follows the same theme that the ocean is our friend, but also has its dangers.
Realmente, es una historia que me enganchó y que al igual que la primera, el soundtrack te deja enamorado. Así como también la historia, que nos damos cuenta que no todo es lo que parece, y que hay cosas que tienen que pasar, para que aprendamos. Es una historia que le hace justicia a su predecesora y que sigue el mismo lineamiento de que el océano es nuestro amigo, pero que también tiene peligros.
It's a story that seeks to connect with the past, and with what should have been, but was interrupted by forces beyond our control. Finding the path to our roots has always been one of the mysteries of every human being, and knowing that deep down we are all connected is what teaches us a lesson (among many) that we must remember: We are all one.
Es una historia que busca conectar con el pasado, y con lo que debería ser, pero que fue interrumpido por fuerzas mayores. El encontrar el camino a nuestras raíces siempre ha sido uno de los misterios de cada ser humano, y saber que en el fondo nos conectamos unos con otros es lo que nos da una lección (de muchas) que tenemos que recordar: Todos somos uno.
In addition to what I have already mentioned, the most important lesson in this film is given to us by the god Nalo, and it is the reason why he separates men: together we are stronger. When we are separated from each other, it is easy for us to be manipulated, to fall into despair and fear.
Además de lo que ya les mencioné, la lección más importante de esta película, nos la da el dios Nalo, y es el motivo por el cual separa a los hombres: juntos somos más fuertes. Al estar separados uno de otros es fácil que nos manipulen, que caigamos en la desesperación y en el miedo.
Nalo wanted to dominate men, and to do so, he separated their paths, sinking the island that connected us all. Because he knows that the strength of one is enough to unite the others. In these times, it is more difficult for someone like that to appear, and yet they look for different ways to achieve the same goal, which is to see us as separate islands.
Nalo quería dominar a los hombres, y para ello separa sus caminos, hundiendo la isla que nos conecta a todos. Porque sabe que la fuerza de uno, basta para unir a los demás. En estos tiempos, es más difícil que aparezca alguien así y, sin embargo, buscan formas diferentes para lograr el mismo objetivo, que nos veamos como islas separadas.
We are not islands, as my dad says, we all need each other, and the more of us there are, the stronger we are. A team is only as strong as its weakest member. It is easy to fall into deception, we often allow ourselves to be influenced by what others say, we fall into lies, envy, forgetting who we are and where we come from. Defeating the Nalos of this world is not the task of one person; we need a crew that overcomes its fear, and sometimes it is good to let ourselves fall along the way to find what we really should be.
No somos islas, como dice mi papá, todos nos necesitamos, y mientras más seamos, más fuertes somos. Un equipo es tan fuerte como el más débil de nosotros es. Es fácil caer en el engaño, muchas veces nos dejamos influenciar por lo que dicen los demás, caemos en las mentiras, en la envidia, en el olvido de quienes somos y de dónde venimos. Vencer a los Nalo de este mundo no es tarea de una sola persona, necesitamos una tripulación que venza su miedo, y a veces es bueno dejarse caer en el camino para encontrar lo que realmente debemos ser.
