Next Monday is a holiday here, so I am at the beginning of a 3 day weekend that will seem to be over in the blink of an eye. Still, here at the beginning, it is pretty nice.
After I clocked off work, I checked out stuff on my puter, fed myself some mediocre supper, flipped some TV channels for a second and fell asleep in my comfy chair just like an old woman. LOL When I woke up, it was already dark (BOO!) although it IS starting to get dark a little earlier than even a week ago, closed all the blinds, turned the air down so it would get a little cooler and came to my computer to play a few minutes before I get over to my art table.
Here is a little piece I played with last night. It has a lot of pink. I'm not sure candy pink will be one of my go-toos, but anyway, here it is all the same.
I created it like this.....
....but afterwards I wasn't sure I didn't like it better like this. Again, that's the good thing about total abstracts, it frequently doesn't matter which way you look at it.
I don't really have any set plans for this weekend and I'm ok with it that way.
I hope you have something fun planned for your weekend, even if the plans are just being lazy and catching up on your rest. I love weekends like that too sometimes.
