Hello Everyone!
A belated entry, Waking at sunset versus sunrise, The dodgy internet connection, Decimating the fleas & Too much money for too little groceries!
Alright, I have been delaying getting started on the writing all morning now... due to a combination of working on a computer project and admittedly feeling rather sleepy. Waking up super early in the morning, sure does not have anything on 'waking up at the tail end of the night before' and as I have stated before I am often at the end of my day by the time that I begin writing.
Ha, I zonked out after writing that paragraph earlier... and wound up sprawled out in front of the fan sleeping through the hottest part of the day. Now it is almost sunset and thankfully it is beginning to cool off some... because all the high heat has made it feel quite 'stale' and uncomfortable to boot.
My internet connection has been on the fritz ever since last night... and no matter what I do nothing seems to make it better so I guess that it is either atmospheric conditions... or something to do with the cellular tower. Either way, it has made reading and watching stuff online nearly impossible... and proven itself to be a wellspring of aggravation time and time again.
It is bad enough that I have had to stay off my feet for all these days in a row now... and in the end having to struggle with the internet connection is a lot less appealing than taking a nap. Sometimes, I truly wonder what it would be like to be able to use the internet and it not be inadequate, painfully slow... and often insufficient for anything more than some light web browsing.
On a different note, my 'flea apocalypse' is going rather well... and I pretty much wiped out every living flea within the first twenty-four hours of giving the dogs the nitenpyram. Today, I started to notice that more fleas were hatching (en masse) so I gave the dogs another pill to deal with them... and will just have to keep doing that every time a bunch of them hatch out.
I am sure that cycle is going to be repeating itself often over the coming weeks... but it sure beats what I was dealing with before when they had really gotten out of hand. If everything goes well, I can hopefully get rid of the fleas altogether again, not find myself in this scenario anymore and not have to spend a small fortune each year on flea medicine.
Anyways, just before sunset yesterday I got some groceries delivered... and was yet again underwhelmed by just how many groceries that I got compared to what I spent. I also discovered that when walking along the driveway that I really need to avoid stepping on the larger pieces of gravel... because whoa (boot or no boot) my little injured foot did not like that.
Well, I do not have anything else to report and am going to wrap this entry up. I sure am looking forwards to being able to get outdoors more soon because I am going stir crazy being indoors so much! I hope that folks are doing well. Ta ta for now.
