Hello Everyone!

Autumn approaches, Doing lots of outdoor chores & Making ashes the easy way!

Well, it has been a busy few days and although I am not super feeling the writing thing at the moment... I also need to start getting myself back into the habit of making more consistent entries... so here I am! Since it is already getting much cooler with the approach of autumn, perhaps the changing weather will help encourage me to 'get it together' somewhat when it comes to all that jazz.

Over the previous few weeks, I have been getting outdoors a lot and doing my best to get prepared for the colder weather, get all the seasonal chores done... and generally get things in better shape around the place. In many ways it has been a bit brutal on me, because I tend to stay in a constant state of (at a minimum) partial dehydration and that mixed with not enough food... often leaves me feeling more wiped out than I should be feeling and more than a little moody.

The only part of it all that I have actually been enjoying, is having a fire in the above-ground firepit that I have been making ashes in for the compost mound. Although that firepit does not accommodate a whole lot of material inside it at once... it sure has been working out really well for the ashes because I never lose any of them and it makes spreading them afterwards super easy.

I have also been picking up lots of sticks and leaves from around the camp itself to do my usual fire prevention before the cool dry air moves into the region and increases the chances of fires. This has also involved raking up the leaves along the trails, in the driveway and also cutting back the vegetation along the powerline easement.

Overall, just being outdoors has been rather nice regardless of how much I detest the constant traffic going by on the roads... and the relentless dirty looks from my shitty neighbors. I know folks daydream about all kinds of stuff in life... but whoa lately the only thing that I really daydream about is having a three to four meter tall wall that encircles the entire property... just so that I do not have to hear all the racket and could maybe have a semblance of seclusion.

Anyways, life has been grinding on here and although I could spell out more... my attitude at the moment is much more along the lines of 'why bother' than 'hey lets really dive in here and spell things out' so with that... ta ta for now.

These are probably the neatest looking flowers that I have seen around here!

I do not know what these are but I like their color!

Some random mushrooms that I saw while hiking.

I finally made a 'door' for the tent to help keep the dogs inside while I am sleeping!

Thanks for reading!
