As per my post on Saturday, our tokensale for the Steemit community is now live and it is very exciting.
The token sale really marks a milestone for the community as a whole. I am personally not aware of any other fundraisers of this magnitude that has been done exclusively for the Steemit Community. We are really aiming to keep it as easy as possible for you to get your hands on some of the pods in this pre-token sale. Most importantly, this token sale is available for everybody in the Steemit community. We are giving you the opportunity to buy these pods early, before we go out into the market with the main tokensale.
Why are we giving you this opportunity?
• Our founders have been involved on this platform since the early days of Steemit. • We understand that a lot of the Steemit community is not necessarily Crypto Traders or Crypto technology specialists. We therefor want to give you the opportunity to get your hands on some pods in an easy non-technology driven way. • We want to give the tech savvy crypto traders the opportunity to get their hands at a special bonus price. • One of our target markets, is the sporting supporter community. We want to work with Steemit to build our blogging side of the SportsPodium solution, right here on Steemit and we hope to bring thousands of new users to the platform. How to participate in the token sale.

You will be asked to enter the amount of Steem or SBD you wish to buy PODs with and also your Steemit password. The password is only required to authorise the transaction. Your password is NOT visible to us and we cannot record your password. It is very safe to use. As a backup, we record the transaction on our side in addition to the normal record on the Steem blockchain. You will have a transaction in your Steemit Wallet History as confirmation that you purchased Pods.
We only need your password to authorise your transaction, we cannot see your password or safe you password. We are using a standard API.
An alternative method is to do a direct transfer from your Steem wallet to the @sportspodium wallet. The amount of pods you receive will be calculated based on the Ethereum price at the time. We record the ether price every hour for the duration of the pre-token sale. Please use your email address in the memo field.
We will notify via email when you can claim your pods.
