I'm @jadeneywrites but you can call me ken instead, last week when the earthquake here in cebu is started at September 30 and after 1 week the aftershocks took to 10,000+ and until now October 10 the aftershocks are still counting. Thankfully the aftershocks now is not the same before it's calm right now. Hopefully everything is alright but suddenly we were sleep outside of the house making a tent where we need to sleep at night for the main time. During the earthquake everyone is in panic the road are cracking the houses lot's of crack, some of houses are now unsafe to stay because of earthquake 6.9 and it's aftershocks.

The Bogo city is in healing stage from the earthquake that gave us trauma and now lots of post in social media where the Davao City experienced the earthquake just like what we've experienced here in Cebu City. It's hard to understand why this year so many places that had experienced this terrifying quake. Bogo City 6.9 magnitude while the Davao City 7.6 magnitude the difference here is in Davao it's magnitude is most terrible than Cebu but in Cebu it happened at night than Davao is morning, everyone is panic cause it's like the Philippines had experienced the terrible earthquake that now been exist.

What's my point here is at during the quake here in our place wherein Tabogon, Cebu when we gather we make as one and at morning we make a tent for us but suddenly our tent/trapal is not enough for us all so that's why the tent that we made is small tent cause of lack of trapal. Some of us just sleep in Car or Vehicle because we can't fit in the tent that we made.

Since we had a Car, so my father decided that we just go in our car to sleep because we can't fit to the tent that we build. We have a 2 cars in one car my mother and father sleep in that car and for the another car is we're me and my siblings sleep there. And after how many days I'm not comfortable where we sleep I just can move little but I want a big space to feel comfortable, so that's why I decided that I want to make my own tent that only me can fit and had a big space to make me feel comfortable.
This is what I build and where I sleep
And this is were I sleep before with my siblings
After few days of sleeping outside, it feels like we are already used to it, even if it's uncomfortable sometimes. At night, we can still feel the small aftershocks, and every time it happens, our hearts beat so fast because we are still scared it might happen again like the first time. The wind is sometimes cold, but we just keep ourselves warm and stay close to each other.
There is some kind people gave a donation for us who's affected of the earthquake. I'm so thankful of the people who help us. Bangon Cebu!!
Every morning, we wake up thankful that we are safe and still together as a family. Some of our neighbors also make their own tents near their houses, and we always help each other when someone needs something like food, water, or even trapal. Even if it’s hard, I’m still thankful that our community became stronger and closer because of what happened.
Until now, the aftershocks still continue, but we are trying to stay positive and strong. The earthquake taught us how important life and family is. It also made us realize that even without comfort, as long as we are safe and together, that’s what really matters the most.
Hopefully, soon everything will be back to normal, and we can go back to our homes peacefully without fear. But for now, we just keep praying and believing that this too shall pass. Bangon Cebu!!🙏💪
