A Spoon Bill
This had a heavy overcast with a nice dark background, not great conditions. But that is the challenge of photography, every day is different, that is why I enjoy it.
420mm, with f5.6 wide open aperture on the lens for max light, use spot metering on the bird to expose for the white feathers. 1/1200 fast shutter speed to freeze the flapping beak, and ISO 800. I set -0.7 EV to protect the feather's highlights.
