El agua no nos vence: nuestro apoyo a @santamorillo (SPA-ENG)

Me sumo al llamado a la solidaridad que hace nuestra amiga @charjaim en su iniciativa de [Esa vida nuestra/Juntos a enfrentar la adversidad/Regalemos bienestar](https://hive.blog/hive-131951/@charjaim/iniciativa-esa-vida-nuestra-juntos) a favor de @santamorillo, quien está siendo afectada por las crecidas de los ríos en los llanos venezolanos, tal como ella misma nos lo cuenta en su último post [Vivencias de inundaciones](https://hive.blog/hive-131951/@santamorillo/vivencias-de-inundaciones). Lamento que ella, así como los muchos de sus paisanos cercanos, estén atravesando tan devastadora situación. Imagínense, despertar luego de un torrencial aguacero con el agua a la cintura. Sé que esto pasa en muchas partes del mundo, más frecuentemente de lo que creemos. Y que, aunque en primera instancia uno siente un hondo pesar por esto, al verlos en los noticieros, muy pronto uno pasa la página en el berenjenal de sus propios problemas, perdiéndonos en la rutina. Seré honesto, yo he sido uno de ellos. Creo que esta es una oportunidad para contribuir con una justa causa, dentro del área de influencia digital que nos proporciona Hive. No la desaproveche. El más pequeño gesto, en ocasiones, incluso, puede ser decisivo. En la iniciativa para este fin, se han etiquetado cerca de ciento cincuenta distinguidos miembros de Hive. Por supuesto, nadie debe sentirse obligado a participar, solo Dios sabe la situación que cada quien atraviesa en estos momentos. Nadie lo juzgará aquí si no participa. Pero sin duda una acción fraternal y solidaria, tal como un comentario, un post cuyo propósito sea ceder las recompensas en favor de @santamorillo, además de un acto de bondad, también sería un testimonio del crecimiento de la consciencia que se persigue en la comunidad de HolosLotus. En tal sentido, aprovecho la ocasión de poner en práctica lo que mi padre me enseñó con hechos sin proponérselo, y que, en mi juventud, no aprecié en su justa dimensión. Compasión por el que sufre, acompañada de acciones para mitigar el sufrimiento al alcance. Confío en que no se me malinterprete. No busco erigirme en una voz de exhortación moral dentro de la comunidad. ¡Dios me salve! Solo pretendo ayudar a nuestra compañera damnificada con lo mejor de mi arte: escribir y divagar en busca de ser una mejor versión de mí, y ceder las recompensas que genere este post. No obstante, también sería espectacular que los otros lo hicieran o donaran según le nazca de corazón. Así que manos a la obra. Por cierto, mi amigo @emiliorios escribió un post al respecto que resume muy bien lo que se espera en estos casos. Si yo atravesara una situación similar a la de nuestra compañera, me pregunto: ¿qué pasaría? Sé que algunos de mis familiares me apoyarían en lo posible, según sus posibilidades. Incluso, algunos amigos pasarían a la acción, a sabiendas de que estos son escasos y un verdadero tesoro. Muchos de nosotros que participamos activamente en Hive, a pesar de no conocernos fuera del ecosistema, hemos establecido una amistad a través de lo digital. Casi a diario, interactuamos por medios de comentarios luego de sumergirnos en las interioridades manifiestas en los posts. Se establece una especie de intimidad en lo público que a menudo trasciende a lo privado. Los caminos de la amistad se valen de cualquier medio cuando las almas son afines. Entonces no es de extrañar que los amigos se apoyen en los momentos difíciles. Es hora de apoyar a @santamorillo.

I join our friend @charjaim's call for solidarity in her [That Life of Ours/Together to Face Adversity/Let's Give Well-Being](https://hive.blog/hive-131951/@charjaim/iniciativa-esa-vida-nuestra-juntos) initiative for @santamorillo, who is being affected by the floods, as she tells us in her latest post [Flood Experiences](https://hive.blog/hive-131951/@santamorillo/vivencias-de-inundaciones). I'm sorry that she, as well as many of her fellow countrymen, is going through such a devastating situation. Imagine waking up after a torrential downpour with water up to your waist. I know this happens in many parts of the world, more frequently than we think. And although one feels deep sorrow for this at first, seeing it on the news soon leads one to turn the page amid one's problems, losing oneself in routine. I'll be honest, I've been one of them. I believe this is an opportunity to contribute to a worthy cause within the digital sphere of influence that Hive provides us. Don't waste it. Sometimes, even the smallest gesture can be decisive. In the initiative for this purpose, nearly one hundred and fifty distinguished Hive members have been tagged. Of course, no one should feel obligated to participate; only God knows the situation each person is going through right now. No one will judge you here if you don't participate. But without a doubt, a fraternal and supportive action, such as a comment or a post whose purpose is to donate the rewards to @santamorillo, in addition to being an act of kindness, would also be a testament to the growth of awareness pursued in the HolosLotus community. In this sense, I take this opportunity to put into practice what my father taught me through unintentional actions, and which, in my youth, I didn't fully appreciate: Compassion for those who suffer, accompanied by actions to mitigate the suffering within reach. I trust I'm not misunderstood. I'm not seeking to establish myself as a voice of moral exhortation within the community. God save me! I only intend to help our fellow sufferers with the best of my craft: writing and rambling in pursuit of becoming a better version of myself, and passing on the rewards this post generates. However, it would also be wonderful if others would do the same or donate as they see fit. So, let's get to work. If I were to go through a situation similar to our colleague's, I wonder: what would happen? I know that some of my family members would support me as much as they could, according to their means. Some friends would even take action, knowing that these are rare and a true treasure. Many of us who actively participate in Hive, despite not knowing each other outside the ecosystem, have established a friendship through digital means. Almost daily, we interact through comments after immersing ourselves in the inner workings of posts. A kind of intimacy is established in the public sphere that often transcends the private sphere. The paths of friendship avail themselves of any means when souls are like-minded. So it's no wonder friends support each other in difficult times. It's time to support @santamorillo.
