Equilibrio interior: la luz que disuelve las guerras del exterior (SPA-ENG)

El Día Mundial de la Paz, decretado el 30 de noviembre de 1981 por la ONU, al principio se celebró en la tercera semana de septiembre con la apertura de las sesiones de las asambleas y posteriormente institucionalizado el 21 de septiembre de 2002. Coincide con el segundo equinoccio del año, que da inicio en el norte al otoño y en el sur a la primavera. Habrán notado que tal denominación astronómica evoca equilibrio: entre el día y la noche. Y en tal sentido, quizás, la paz anhelada, a nivel simbólico, sea el resultado entre las luces y oscuridades de los hombres, naciones y pueblos que conforman a la humanidad. La guerra es la antítesis de la paz: un fenómeno antrópico ancestral con raíces muy profundas. Incluso, algunos la señalan como uno de los motores del progreso de la civilización, y otros como un mecanismo necesario de autorregulación de la población. Expresiones racionales y de ideologías que atentan contra la dignidad humana. No niego que sea un gran problema ético-moral con base en la cruda realidad y en lo conflictivo del hombre. La solución raya en la utopía más excelsa, como es la práctica elevada del amor mismo. Basta… toquemos tierra. No es que sea infructuoso el pensar en lo universal y en la complejidad del asunto de establecer la paz. Más cuando nos involucra a todos. Lo paradójicamente absurdo es conocer qué solución aplicar, y, sin embargo, no lo hacemos. Miles de años en guerra lo confirman. Construir la paz implica destruir la guerra. El arma letal, el amor. ¿Saben? Tengo la impresión de que el primer frente de batalla está en nosotros mismos. En posicionarnos y mantenernos en el equinox de nuestro ser. Donde las luces y las sombras de nuestras personalidades se cruzan. Pensándolo bien, esto choca con la creencia generalizada en Occidente sobre la equivalencia de la luz con los valores más elevados. Hallarnos en la zona gris nos pone en aprieto. Claro, desde la perspectiva dualista: luz y oscuridad. Ahora, si presuponemos que el punto de partida o destino es la luz, alejarnos de allí, en cualquier dirección, explicaría muchos de los males que nos aquejan. Creo que los hombres se han alejado de la luz, dando origen a los conflictos en la medida en que más se está fuera de ella. De hecho, ya tenemos bastante con nosotros mismos. Llenos de miedos e inseguridades, perdemos la paz, y al vincularnos con los otros con similares situaciones, no debe extrañarnos el surgimiento de conflictos. Por lo tanto, el primer enemigo a vencer está en uno mismo. ¿Cómo vencerlo? Los grandes sabios espirituales de antaño que resuenan en los modernos sentenciaron categóricamente: con el amor. Bueno… El amor. Aunque a quien dice que lo opuesto al amor es el odio, cayendo en la trampa del dualismo. El amor debe vencer al odio. Pero en realidad, el amor no tiene opuesto, enemigo absoluto y único. Al contrario… se disgrega en los miedos e inseguridades, donde el odio solo es una expresión más de ello. Aquí también se circunscribe el egoísmo. No es una cita abrupta y forzada. Quizás un eco en nuestro ser, del cual a veces no se es consciente. Dispensen, si aún estoy por las nebulosas. En el que y no en el cómo hallar la paz. Si fuese fácil, Tomás Moros no habría escrito su Utopía, ni Kant, un ensayo sobre la paz perpetua con tinte utópico. Solo quien se ama sinceramente a sí mismo, encuentra la paz y es capaz de contagiar a los demás. Por supuesto, todavía las barreras son inmensas cuando el estado de consciencia colectiva es bajo. El enemigo externo es creado desde cada uno de nosotros para obviar la batalla más importante en nuestro interior. El viaje del héroe debe culminar necesariamente en un trono de humildad y ser lámpara para los que siguen los múltiples senderos de vuelta a la luz. Cuando comencé este escrito, pensé en desarrollarlo, recomendando pequeñas acciones tendentes a la paz con base en la sana convivencia, siguiendo las pautas de las preguntas planteadas en esta iniciativa. Y, en consecuencia, preparé un esquema para desarrollarlas. Pero… en la medida en que las ideas traspasaban el teclado, caí en cuenta de lo vital del amor, y cómo la falta de consciencia y comprensión del mismo nos lleva por derroteros de conflictos y a la guerra. En la que la primera víctima y el victimario son uno. Entonces, ¿cómo habrá paz en el mundo? Sí, es loable que una organización transnacional global promueva la paz. Aunque con declaraciones de intenciones sin respaldo en acciones contundentes, no se va muy lejos. Paliativos insuficientes en tragedias que inoculan las venideras. Mientras tanto, os recomiendo seguir trabajando en el imperio del amor en uno. La luz no puede ser tapada con un dedo, y quién sabe si la utopía de la paz llegue a la realidad en el mundo.

Expressions of rationality and ideologies that violate human dignity. I don't deny that it is a great ethical-moral problem based on the harsh reality and conflicts of humankind. The solution borders on the most sublime utopia, which is the elevated practice of love itself. Enough... let's come down to earth. It's not that it's fruitless to think about the universal and the complexity of establishing peace. Even more so when it involves us all. The paradoxically absurd thing is knowing which solution to apply, and yet we don't do it. Thousands of years of war confirm this. Building peace implies destroying war. The lethal weapon: love. You know? I have the impression that the first battlefront is within ourselves. In positioning ourselves and maintaining ourselves at the equinox of our being, where the lights and shadows of our personalities intersect. Thinking about it, this clashes with the widespread belief in the West about the equivalence of light with the highest values. Finding ourselves in the gray zone puts us in a difficult position. Of course, from the dualistic perspective: light and darkness. Now, if we assume that the starting point or destination is the light, moving away from it, in any direction, would explain many of the ills that afflict us. I believe that humankind has moved away from the light, giving rise to conflicts as they move further out from it. In fact, we already have enough to deal with ourselves. Filled with fears and insecurities, we lose peace, and when we connect with others in similar situations, we shouldn't be surprised when conflicts arise. Therefore, the first enemy to overcome is within oneself. How to overcome it? The great spiritual sages of yesteryear, who resonate with modern times, categorically declared: with love. Well... Love. Although those who say that the opposite of love is hate are falling into the trap of dualism. Love must conquer hate. But in reality, love has no opposite, no absolute and unique enemy. On the contrary, it disintegrates into fears and insecurities, where hatred is just another expression of it. Selfishness is also circumscribed here. It's not an abrupt and forced quote. Perhaps an echo in our being, of which we are sometimes unaware. Forgive me if I'm still in the dark. In the "where" and not in the "how" of finding peace. If it were easy, Thomas More wouldn't have written his Utopia, nor would Kant have written an essay on perpetual peace with a utopian tinge. Only those who sincerely love themselves find peace and are able to spread it to others. Of course, the barriers are still immense when the state of collective consciousness is low. The external enemy is created from within each of us to obviate the most important battle within us. The hero's journey must necessarily culminate in a throne of humility and be a lamp for those who follow the many paths back to the light. When I began this article, I thought about developing it by recommending small actions aimed at peace based on healthy coexistence, following the guidelines of the questions posed in this initiative. Consequently, I prepared an outline to develop them. But… as the ideas crossed the keyboard, I realized the vitality of love, and how the lack of awareness and understanding of it leads us down paths of conflict and war. In which the first victim and the victimizer are one. So, how will there be peace in the world? Yes, it is laudable that a global transnational organization promotes peace. Although declarations of intent without backing them up with decisive actions only go so far. Insufficient palliatives for tragedies inoculate future ones. In the meantime, I recommend you continue working on the rule of love within oneself. The light cannot be hidden with a finger, and who knows if the utopia of peace will ever become a reality in the world.
