Actually it could be both! lol.
Howdy folks and greetings from the Great Plains of North Texas!
Yeah I know, you can't get much more traditional and old fashioned than I am. So when I saw this new pedal-less bicycle I thought "what in the world is THIS contraption??"
How can you have a bicycle without pedals and why would you want one?
Talk about primitive. Hey, remember the old Flintstone cartoons? And Fred's car that he had to power with his own feet? lol.
That's what this thing reminds me of. Except Fred's car at least had a seat, which this doesn't!
Ok, here it is, it's called the Fliz pedal-less(and seat-less) bicycle:
The way it works is you strap yourself into a harness and are suspended between the two wheels. You can put your feet up on treads on the rear wheel for coasting.
Of course the video shows a rider effortlessly cruising down a hill and into a plaza.
But what about going UP hills? The fun would be gone real fast.
Is this the strangest looking thing you ever saw?
Most new inventions and technology make things easier, not harder. But since I'm a dinosaur I'll let ya'll explain to me what the advantage to having this type of bicycle is. I don't get it but I'm also open minded.
It looks like a huge, uncomfortable, impractical hassle to me. But I reckon they'll sell a ton of em since they're so unusual. And here's a video to help you make up your mind about buying one. lol.

Let me know if we have any buyers out there!
Thanks for reading folks! -jonboy Texas
PS- Now here is a new invention that I think is really practical and solves a problem. This is about making umbrellas more practical and user-friendly.
The problem
It's very awkward to carry an umbrella while you have a cup of coffee with you because when you go to open a door or something that takes a free hand, you have to try and hold the cup and the umbrella handle in the same hand.
Especially difficult for people with small hands.
The solution
A company called Urban Zoo came out with an umbrella with a cup holder on the end of the handle. The only question is: Why did it takes so long for someone to come up with this? lol
You can get them on Amazon. 30 bucks.
By the way, this week the great sir @abitcoinskeptic wrote a post which addresses and solves an ecological issue connected with umbrellas and I highly recommend you get over to his blog and read that one.
Have a great weekend everyone, God bless you all!
