Lahore is one of my favorite city in Pakistan. I love this city because of many things. One of it's attractive thing is that there are so many shrines snd tombs of sufi saints located in Lahore. I am very fond of exploring and visiting these beautiful and sacred shrines of sufi saints. In today's blog I am going to show you a tomb of famous sufi saint " Khuwaja Behari".
This beautiful tomb is located near dhrampura railway bridge Lahore. People from far off places come here to visit this holy place.
Today I decided to visit this beautiful sacred tomb of Hazrat Khuwaja Behari. At about 04 PM I decided to visit this tomb by walking. Actually walking and exploring new places of Lahore has become my habit. During my walk I went to a pancakes shop where I ate tasty pancakes. After eating pancakes I departed towards my destination.
After walking for half an hour I reached Darbar of Hazrat Khuwaja Behari. The interior of darbar was very well decorated. First I offered fateha at darbar and then clicked few pictures. Here you can see these pictures below.
The grave of Hazrat Khuwaja Behari was covered with beautiful green cover and it was decorated with different kinds of flowers. Look at this grave in the picture below.
I was astonished to see the well decorated roof of the tomb. It was something very special for me. I never see such a beautiful and well decorated interior of any tomb. Look at the pictures below.
The real name of Hazrat Khuwaja Behari was Hazrat Asadullah. I saw a banner where his real name was engraved beautifully. A red color banner was hanged in the interior of the shrine.
The entrance of the shrine was also decorated very well.
Children were playing cricket in the courtyard of the tomb. The outer view of shrine was also very beautiful. At first look it looked like a mosque.
The minarets of this beautiful tomb were enhancing it's beauty. I captured a picture standing at nearby road.
The nearby street was also decorated with different kinds of lights and flags.
After offering fateha and spending some quality time at a sacred place, I decide dto returned to my residence. Believe me it was a soulful visit. I was pretty much calm after visiting this holy place.
