HI GUYS!
Here’s a new sketch depicting memories and time (here is the second series i love to share here). The shoe is more than an object of function-it is a vessel of memory, identity, and time. Once a staple of everyday life, this simple canvas sneaker was worn by countless youths, across classrooms, streets, and playgrounds. It symbolized freedom of movement, the restlessness of growing up, and the quiet rebellion of finding one’s own path. Its scuffs, folds, and loosened laces are not signs of wear alone, but records of lived experience-the laughter of friends, the rhythm of the street, the unspoken dreams carried with each stride. Now resting in stillness, the shoe no longer moves, yet it continues to speak. It whispers of journeys past and the worlds it once touched. In its silence, it holds the echoes of every step-a reminder that even the most ordinary objects can become archives of collective memory and cultural history.
Enjoy 💫
CREATIVE PROCESS: Created with charcoal pencil on paper. Starting with my careful sketch to adding more detail and details till the finished piece.
