Sometimes at the end of the day I ask myself how it got to be midnight and I still haven’t shut down fire the day.
Today it was obvious. I put in a full work day, took a 15-minute Power Nap, dashed to my 5:30 pickleball class, then grabbed some take-out and met some friends for a summer concert in the park (Gear Daddies — an awesome local band), and then I took a walk before heading back to my car because I was right down on the lakefront and it was a gorgeous evening.
But my day was not done. I still needed to get some groceries, so I stopped by the store and did a full shopping run. Then I went home and did some cleanup and dishes, and finally sat down to spend some time with my writing communities.
I’m too tired for much of a post tonight, but here are some pics from my stroll by the lake.
